Adrift – Delphine Trio The people at trptk are beyond wonderful. I think it is high time we left listening to CDs and concentrate on hi-res and vinyl. trptk are so good at recording, I marvel at the clarity and dynamics of Adrift by the Delphine Trio. The trio itself? To me sheet music is just a lot of dots. They turn these dots into audio paintings. I don’t know how they do it. Their instruments sometimes seem to be one instrument, not three. Or more instruments. Music beyond music. I listen to such recordings on Colibri through a PrismSound Lyra II, a simple ecler LPA10000 amp powering a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 801 Series 3 speakers I got cheap from a radio studio that closed down. Often I am disappointed, there is so much music sold that seems to be made for distraction only. Not so by trptk. Everything that I hear is sometimes soft, sometimes harsh, whispers, sings, shouts. I have a hard time following this flow of musical information. There is always something to be noticed followed by more and much more. Help!

You guys have the best download app. Only sometimes I have to restart it because the download fails. Otherwise, all is good.

Almost all downloads I did during the years succeeded and by use of the download app you can start again at the point you dropped off. Only the price is in the top range but you will get best quality.

Easy purchase process, easy download of purchased content. Just easy. The music on Magnificat Nidaros Cathedral Girls’ Choir (Nidarosdomens jentekor), Trondheim Soloists (TrondheimSolistene) is wonderful, highly recommend this title.

Normally I am not a fan of downloading paid-for music or books,etc. It is expensive (NativeDSD is certainly no exception to this) and there can be issues on playing back the files. However, there seems no other way of getting these kind of music files. This was my first purchase from NativeDSD. They have an extensive website of classical, jazz and ambient music. The choice can be confusing, especially the various formats offered in relation to the original format. On purchase, downloading appeared easy but it was slow and I had to download several tracks twice. On playback I did hear some artifacts on headphone playback but I cannot be sure at the moment that this was not my transport or DAC struggling with the processing. In general however the quality of the recordings was very pleasing. Overall purchasing and listening was a pleasing experience and I will certainly have another go when I feel the itch.

Online players via Mac and Windows were terrible. Nothing simple to simply play a file and listen. Nothing worked without some other application required or additional hardware. DSD just isn't ready for prime time.

It's great that the starter pack is free with 7 great sounding songs. DSD sounds truly amazing and I look forward to doing business with your company in the future.

The sound file was clean and I had no issues with the download. My only challenge was relating to the general slowness of response on the website. I will continue to make purchases using this site, as I see items become available that interest me. In Suspended Animation by Dark Cinder Veneer is a brilliant piece of ambient music, and not available in most other places. I was happy to make the purchase.
