I was happy to discover NativeDSD Music while looking to add to my DSD collection, and especially high resolution DSD. I chose an album to try my system with DSD512 for the first time. The sound of Bartok Concerto for Orchestra by Karina Canellakis and Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra sounds clearer and fuller than the 24/192 streaming version I have. I'll be back!

I like very much the kind of selection of music, Native DSD provides. Always on high level quality recordings and matching a lot my taste. However, I am not in favor to install extra software to just download an album. Also is the downlaod pretty slow compared to nowadays available bandwiths.

I bought the latest DSD remastering of Patricia Barber's "Modern Cool" album. The recording in DSD sounds great. I did have problems with downloading. Initially, I encountered errors on tracks 7 & 11 and had to re-download these tracks. Then I had trouble importing the album into JRiver which I finally resolved by deleting the whole album on my NAS and re-downloading it again in its entirety. I also didn't realise that I needed to download the booklet and album cover separately - my fault, as I had expected this information to download automatically. So, it took a lot of time before I could finally listen to this album. Much of these problems were my fault; so don't let this review put you off from downloading and listening to this exquisite new release.
