Completely unhelpful ! They sent me the wrong part which had the same product number as the part I wanted, then refused to re-reimburse my postage for their part to be sent back. The person on the phone was argumentative and made no attempt to apologise for the inconvenience they had caused and wouldn't back down from a position which is in direct contravention of distance selling regulations.

Usually the ordering and delivery process with a company goes well (mostly), however it is only when things go wrong that you see the 'true' company behind the scenes. In my case I ordered a replacement set of blades for my Cobra LRH26C. These arrived very quickly however the two blades were identical which did not seem correct. Mowers and Spares assured me they were correct and they had sold many of these to happy customers. Once replaced my fears were confirmed, the blades opened only to +/- half opening. Mowers and Spares confirmed the blades ther sent were correct and they are both the same, however from my observations the mechanical arrangement in the head shows this cannot be the case. In the end I was obliged to take the hedgecutter to a Cobra Service Centre who confirmed what I thought always to be the case - the two blades are different. I contacted Mowers and Spares again, but they reconfirmed that the blades should be the same and wanted to know who the Service agent was, they would then contact the agent and let me know. 2 months on and 3 unanswered emails to Mowers and Spares I still have not heard anything - yet. Clearly Mowers and Spares do not want me to return the unnecessary blade. I have also had the additional (and unnecessary) expense of the Service Center so, based on my experience I cannot recommend Mower and Spares.
