The Cobra GTT400HD dump cart features a one-piece non-corrosive polypropylene bed. It is equipped with pneumatic tyres which are made up of two parts; the outer part is tough rubber with tyre treads and the second part is an inner tube filled with air placed inside the outer piece. This not only makes the GTT400HD easier to handle but is ideal for rough or bumpy terrains, such as outdoors and on gravel. Whether the job is getting rid of garden refuse, hauling firewood, moving sand or dumping gravel Cobra carts will undertake tasks safely, reliably and efficiently for years to come. I have done no more than 2 dozen runs in total in a horse paddock with loads of horse manure between 40 to 80 kgs, towing the cart behind a quad. I have had a puncture on the "inside", of one wheel, and now all 4 wheel bearings have smashed up, the quality of these bearings are very poor and not stamped and are more suited to child's push toy than a heavy duty wheel barrow/cart. Your description of the item is totally misleading, If you were to put a load anywhere near your claimed 300Kg payload in this cart, it would most definitely collapse, probably at a standstill. I am most disappointed with this item and feel I have been totally misled by the description given, this cart is unfit for the purpose stated. I understand there is a 2 year warranty for parts and labour, but I see no point in replacing parts on a useless item, as these parts will last no longer than the original parts. United Kingdom | 16 July 2023Very disappointed with a time sensitive order. Checked with the office. Yes they had the parts in stock. Delivery statement on website - “…All machinery orders between Monday - Thursday and before 2pm will be processed and despatched the same day, aiming for next day delivery. This applies to spare parts. Should any spare part be out of stock or a special order item, you'll be contacted accordingly to see how you want to proceed with your order..." “…All in stock items on your order will be despatched within 1-3 working days…” This is taken from the invoice received. Which to trust?? I cannot say how long it was before the parts were picked and despatched but I placed the order on June 28th but did not receive the parts until July 14th. 16 days. Just not good enough.

United Kingdom | 05 July 2023Excellent delivery service. Order placed midday(ish) 4 July and arrived 1130 on 5 July. Bit confused though why the despatch note with the items is from Henton & Chattell, Nottingham when I placed the order with Mowers & Spares, Prenton, Birkenhead. Finally, if ordering please check with M&S that they offer free delivery as per the big green icon on their website. I missed it when placing my order so thought nothing of it when automatically charged delivery costs at checkout. The discrepancy between the website info and reality is the reason for the 4* review.

United Kingdom | 08 May 2023Carefully chose a spare part (drive belt) from their authorised list. Clearly stated it was for my machine. Except it wasn't. Should have been 490mm circumference, not 410 as delivered. Significant difference for a small scarifier. I contacted them. They are still ignoring me. Found a 'proper one' elsewhere. UPDATE. I chose the part for my machine - from the explode parts diaqram for my model, the one they were advertising. Their list, our machine, their part. They have tried to blame me for 'choosing the wrong part'. Now they say I contacted them over a bank holiday weekend. That, too is untrue. I contacted them on Wed 3 May. All adds up folks. Done here.

Terrible packaging, parts missing so that it was unusable. No refund and no correspondence I am now out of pocket and have had to take item to the tip. Seems like a trend with this company I would avoid them they seem like criminals who are selling faulty products and providing no refund

Terrible correspondence regarding the matter, eventually picked up on 7th December after various vague updates and chasing. 10 days later I still have no refund and they wont respond. AVOID THEM!!

United Kingdom | 26 November 2021Watch the Refund Policy. Bought a part which was dispatched in good time. However I ordered the incorrect part and therefore returned it for a refund. The refund has now been applied but they "charge" a 25% restocking fee. This is buried deep in their T & C's. You can get a full refund if the item is a "fast selling item." No way of course that a consumer can validate that point. They also have a 5 day returns policy which again is questionable. I'm posting this review in case you are buying an expensive item or product as 25% could be a large amount. I would have challenged my refund as this policy is poor and questionable. The amount on my order was insignificant. Additional Comment. The company have replied quickly to my review which is good. I think their products and speed of service is absolutely fine. However interestingly they have not commented on; 1. Charging a 25% fee for "re stocking." an item. 2. Allowing only 5 days to return your item. Think this is questionable under the Consumer Rights Act. 3. Their policy of only allowing full refunds on fast selling items. How can a consumer validate this. I will leave them to consider their policies.

United Kingdom | 27 August 2021Terrible company! As other reviewers have already stated, there customer service is dreadful. They sold me a £120 hedge trimmer late last year. It completely packed up after being used on 3 occasions. As it was guaranteed for 12 months, I wrote to them expecting either a repair or a replacement and they didn’t bother to respond. Fortunately the brand Flymo actually helped me when I contacted them. This should have been dealt with by Mowers and Spares as they only had to contact the company brand because they sold me the product. That’s simple and effective customer service. I will never use them again and would recommend using a proper company, such as John Lewis, who will help you with any guaranteed product.

United Kingdom | 26 July 2021ordered part for web brush cutter as it was shown as in stock. An alternative cheaper part arrived that I did not want. Telephoned to complain and was told it would fit. Explained I wanted the Webb original part and was told I should have been contacted to ask if I wanted the alternative part. Took another phone call and the threat of trading standards to receive the price difference refunded to me. Why show parts in stock when they are not. If I wanted an alternative part I would have got one cheaper elsewhere. And to top it all it doesn't fit

Despite their website stating that all responses would be acknowledged and responded to within 24 hours I am still waiting for a response, any response, some 11 days later having contacted them by email(twice) and directly from their 'Contact Us' webpage. Initially very pleased with delivery of a Flymo Cordless Long Reach Hedge trimmer. However, having only bought the hedge trimmer in June 2020, and having used it barely half a dozen times over the summer before storing for the winter, when taken out of storage for use this summer I find the battery and charger has failed and will not charge. Despite the Hedge trimmer still being in warranty Motor and Spares have not - will not- respond to any of my contact attempts to resolve this 'in warranty failed product'. In the current climate I'm surprised that any company can risk their reputation for future sales with such poor (non existent) customer service. I can only hope that a poor review on Trustpilot may elicit a response and resolution in honoring the guarantee.

On the 26 may i had a long awaited allett kensington 20b si delivered and left unsigned for on my drive, delivery company is called palletways. Having used the mower once it has now been lifted from an extremely secure property, that isn’t overlooked. In the last 24hrs the house was only empty 40min on sat morning. This is a target theft of the mower as there were bikes and other equally value items in the locked stable, but left. Only this company and palletways knew of my purchase....
