We hired Louis Georgiou to resurface a shower base. Not only did he do a very poor job, he then continually ignored our calls and hasn’t returned to rectify the job let alone refund our money. You should not hire this person.

Attention tradesman keep away from this company.all you will regret it.they are there just to rip you off.and all leads are expensive.

Have used HiPages in the past without too much issue BUT, I recently had a tradie that my elderly mum hired to repaint her house. She is in another state so I recommended she use someone from HiPages based on my previous experience with them. Well the tradie took from her a cash “deposit” and disappeared refusing to come back and do the work and now denies she ever paid him. Lodged a complaint with HiPages and unfortunately they can’t assist as they are not “an authority”. However I that I did not know was that it is their POLICY not to show negative comments and complaints against tradies on their platform. So effectively be warned , tradies are not “verified” nor are they truly recommended because HiPages will only show you the positive recommendations and no negatives. Disappointing. I will not be using them in the future. I suggest you think twice about using this platform because they obviously have cowboys and conmen on their platform and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Great facility to find tradies. My three replies came within minutes and the job was completed early and the results most pleasing. Give it a go and become happy with the finished job, task or item.

I was on the $219 package and found that leads were delayed by up to 15 minutes so obviously the lead had been taken by then also when I tried to lead accept a lead, the app took about 30 seconds to open up. Again, the lead was taken by then. And the leads that were available were either irrelevant or jobs that nobody wanted for obvious reasons. I missed out from so many job that meant I was paying for a service that didn't exist. There was so much suspicious activity that I threatened to take the matter to the VSBC. Then a whole months of message were they admitted to issues with the system were suddenly gone. Dodgy is the least I could say, more like thieves, taking your money for next to nothing in return.

Put in a job for a specialist in tree care. Hipages got back to me telling me they’re on it!! But they didn’t have any such trades in their books. I am ok with that. Except for what happened next. After no responses from any qualified trade, a painter contacted me. I replied to the painter asking them to list their appropriate qualifications. I didn’t get a response. I contacted Hipages to notify if error and to ask why they sent my request to a painter. Now i am being bombarded with text messages saying that I have hired the painter to inspect a sick tree WTFluff is going on?? Seems to me to be some sort of phishing scam. The ABN of this “painter” doesn’t seem legit. This is a poor service, a potential scammers playground. Stay away.

Hi everyone please be aware that hipages has unfair contracts for tradies. Tradies are being stuck and can’t leave. Please do not use.

This company is criminal. Trades are not happy and they can’t get out of the contract, this is not helpful for customers because Trades do not trust the legitimacy of calls coming to their phone and the good trades are not on the application 24/7 to bid for your job. The good trades are on the tools working hard for their existing customer and may look at the app after hours, by then the slapdash sweat shop contractor mill has bid for the job. This app is no good for on the tools trades. They are craftsman and on the tools not on apps all day to bid for your job. Please use local search or yellow pages to get legit trades in your area. Not some cheap flake app that trades want out of. Don’t take my word for it read all the low star reviews they will all be from the trades on the service or unhappy customers having to deal with the slapdash contracting mills.
