Don’t even bother, complete con artists! They rip off their signed up tradesmen/women, quick to take your money, promise the world and waste your time. If the client can’t find an honest local tradie on google and will pay for their service/ time rather than bartering for the cheapest cowboys out there, their not worth working for!

Hipages is a great application for quickly finding companies to help our jobs. I already recommend my friends to use this app when they needed some jobs done with professionals. I’m still waiting to start our kitchen installation but the kitchen flooring with Zenal gave us a great experience and we are very happy now.

Sourced a Concretor through Hipages. $3k later no concrete, nothing done totally ripped off! Stay away from Hipages it’s not worth the risk

I have been contacted by several businesses and manage to organise the work I have requested within couple of days. All the trades people were very polite and explained in details what needs to be done. HI Pages saved me a lot of time.

You be out of your mind to sign as a tradie. If you're lucky you get "one" Leed and you get charged $15-$40 before you secure the job, you inbox the client 95% of them won't reply or answer your call. "From my experience"

Great way to have trades and providers who are actively seeking work - and aren’t too busy - express an interest in your job. Far better than phoning a dozen different service providers, explaining what you need and then have them tell you they don’t do that work or they’re too busy to work to your timeframe. Be specific in listing your job requirements and that whole step in the sourcing process is eliminated. High recommend.

I was ripped off and bullied by one of their tradies who refused to give me a receipt. when I reported this to HiPages they completely ignored my concerns, advised they spoke to the tradie and to go to Fair Trading. I did provide full evidence that the tradie ripped me off and was bullied by him too. They do not care about the consumers that use their app all they care about is signing up more tradies. I have used hipages to renovate 4 properties, i will no longer use this app after the was i was treated by both the tradie and HiPages. Will go back to using Airtasker.

GUMDALE CONSTRUCTIONS deliver a high quality product, paying attention to detail. Consideration given to budget whilst presenting options about products of choice. Communication being key to an understanding relationship about the project being a success. Having worked with Mark and his team I acknowledge the work ethic and respect paid to the client. Will never use Hipages again. They do not allow you to leave negative feedback on contractors. This was a roof restoration where they charged my auntie aged 82 $3,800 for ridge repairs and didn't even clean the lichen off them. They used an inferior product than they quoted and replaced 2 tiles after quoting for 20-30. No safety rails even though included in the quote.

I recently hired Roy from Lux Painting Pty Ltd via Hi Pages to paint several interior areas of our new house. He did an excellent job. His attention to detail was exceptional so much so we have hired again him for a new job.

Have twice now had 2 awful tradies that i hired through here. One time the person stole money. Took deposit and never returned to finish job. The previous time the tradie did a pathetic job and damaged my property. Have had to go to vcat for both. Have since learned that hipages does not publish negative feedback. Only positive. Massive failure. You are complicit in people being ripped off by not sharing the negative feedback aswell!

They only post positive reviews of their tradespeople, and say they’re not a review site if customers are unhappy and want a true review that lists issues they’ve had. Refused to do anything even though they were told one tradesperson was threatening and intimidating towards a female customer. Basically the attitude was *too bad, not our problem.

As soon as my details were posted I had at least four tradies call me within 5 seconds. No joke! Now that's a lot to choose from! A great platform to find what I need hassle free, within minutes at great prices! No wonder I keep coming back! Thank you team. Rosa

I regrettably used a company named All Fine Carpentry to extend our deck. They botched a very simple extension and I found the installer unreasonable, argumentive and aggressive. He blamed everyone else but himself and took no responsiblity for his very poor workmanship. I felt compelled to use a different installer who I also found at Hipages. I'm very satisfied with the result although it was at an extra cost of $3,800 My advice do not use All Fine Carpentry even though he quotes at a low price, Cheap and nasty.

I'm using Hipages for a few months. I'm using it to find right tradies for the renovation of our house. I was looking at the rates of tradies and the comments of people to find out which one is the right person. Then little by little I realized that some of the tradies I'm hiring are not as good as what it seems on hipage. They did bad mistakes which cost us more money. Until for one of them I decided to leave a feedback and tell the story to prevent others do the same mistake and hire them. But my feedback didn't publish, I contacted their customer service to realized what's going on. This is their response: "I can confirm we received your feedback and we are disappointed about your experience. As hipages is not a review site, we, therefore, do not publish negative reviews." That's interesting and scary because they are publishing only good reviews!!! Do you recommend such a page to anyone now? Do you trust to use it anymore? The reason behind this is that hipage only get paid by the tradies. So that makes sense to be at their side.

As soon as I posted the ad ,I got two calls from the tradesman, unfortunately both tradesman fail to email me a writen quotation for the job.
