I'm sure this company is nice enough, however our experience with a particular agent named Loren Rayner was nothing short of abysmal. Not only was she very forceful and pushy, she is a highly manipulative person, as well as dishonest. We felt bullied by her into accepting a lower price for our home, then she not only lied to us regarding our onward move, but also withheld information from solicitors which would have delayed or stopped the sale. This has left us in a predicament where we are now going to be homeless because of her misinformation and deception. Avoid her like anthrax...

Tom not only found a buyer for our home but secured the sale at our asking price. Throughout the process he was exceptionally professional. We cannot praise enough his expertise, dedication and kindness. Thank you!

We were looking for an apartment and got called from this company about a potential for us. We wanted to put down and offer and they 100% confirmed the landlord was keen on us but kept stalling the offer and getting any paper work through. We told them we were about to lose another property and we needed to know if this offer was serious and once again they 100% confirmed. We ended up losing the other property and then getting asked to pay more rent or move in 2 weeks earlier after the landlord had 'accepted' our offer. They were very wishy washy and not clear with the communication. It was obvious they were trying to use us to get other bids or start a bidding war. Would not recommend. We were working with Alexandra.

Tom is a real estate superstar. We were listed with another local agent for 9 months with 40 viewings and no clean offers. We switched to Tom and he got us a firm offer for the asking price in 3 *weeks*. Tom also helped us find an effective, efficient lawyer and an expert electrician to do some remedial work before sale - all completed in record time. We exchanged 7 weeks from the offer date. Tom stayed deeply involved in the process from start to finish effectively as a project manager in addition to a sales manager (a HUGE contrast to the usual branch office network approach where the agent we signed up with moved branch after the first week, the open house staff had never seen the house, and even turned up late to viewings leaving our tenants to show the house). The Douglas&Gordon realtor approach is a welcome change! Most importantly, Tom is a thoroughly nice, rational and professional person. He was straightforward about the realities of the property while always putting our wishes first. We look forward to working with Tom and Douglas&Gordon again.

We first were introduced to D&G realtors (w/ agent Tom Yeomanson) in early 2023 and were immediately at comfort that he understood our home search requirements (among the best of the 10 agents we were using). Unfortunately, the London sales market in Wandsworth/Battersea area was dismal in 2023 for our desired 3 bdrm maisonette, open liv/kitchen space, garden property in the £1.1-1.3m range. So we stopped our search mid '23. In March '24, Tom contacted us (unsolicited) with a new property on the market that he remembered would suit us perfectly and offered us first viewing when it became available the next week...we made an offer same day after our 2 yr search, owing partly to Tom's knowledge of the property, the owner, insights and recommendation which we trusted. Since that time, Tom has out-shined even our initial good impression by keeping us in the loop continuously with the sellers plans/status and Exchange legal process. He's knowledgeable, professional, cooperative and very communicative; has clearly been the best realtor we have had the privilege to deal with...what else can be said, but call him at D&G ! end of.

Tom Yeomanson was amazing throughout the whole process. He really took the time to understand the property and price it just right, and immediately had buyers in mind who would be interested. We had a rocky time with solicitors on both sides and Tom acted as an invaluable go-between, keeping the wheels turning and keeping all parties informed - making things far less painful than they might otherwise have been!

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience. We were trying to let an apartment. The agent, Maya Jagdeve, gave us misleading advice. The process we had to go through were murky and ambiguous. Ultimately, it seemed she was using us to get another potential tenant to bid hire. She didn't even have the courtesy to call us to let us know the offer we had put it was not accepted. We lost out on other apartments because of her lack of communication. Proceed with caution. a

Excellent experience buying a property with Tom Yeomanson at Douglas and Gordon. Very helpful throughout, including help with price negotiation following survey. Overall a very honest and open process, which is not always the case with London property!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, helped to guide us through the house buying process better than any other estate agent. Tom Yeomanson is hands down the best estate agent I've ever dealt with. He is calm and assured, knows the market intuitively and was in constant contact during the sale process. We had a roller coaster ride with our buyer and Tom was the voice of reason throughout, giving brilliant guidance and generally keeping us sane. He's a credit to Douglas and Gordon and we would recommend him to anyone wanting proper support when buying/selling in SW London.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Douglas & Gordon and I would not recommend them to anyone. We were trying to sell our house with them last year and once our property launched on the market the communication with D&G became scattered. We received calls from various D&G offices with viewing requests late at night and little to no introduction. The communication and organisation of viewings overall was not organised. After one day of viewings we returned home some hours later to find the front door unlocked (there is a triple security lock) and the back door completely unlocked. There were lights on and the blinds were not drawn. You could see straight into our house which was lit up like a Christmas tree. A few weeks later we noticed a number of expensive wine we had collected or been gifted and were incredibly sentimental were missing from our home, as well as some Jo Malone perfume. I could date when they went missing as some were gifts for my 40th birthday. The only people in our house or had keys other than us had been D&G. Due to the nature of the wine bottles taken someone must have looked through them and picked the best ones. These were not left out to be quickly swiped by some opportunist, and we believe someone knew what they were taking. We made a complaint and received a pathetic response from the Sales Director with barely an apology. I am not sure they even formally investigated despite me and my family (their customers) being made to feel violated in our own home and having irreplaceable items worth thousands of pounds stolen when we had trusted them. I am still incredibly upset and angry about what happened and their response. Avoid like the plague!

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! They do not give your deposit back, I am now having to take legal matters as they don't even answer there phones
