Took delivery today of a Sofa and Armchair delighted with them if took a little longer to arrive than expected. delivery guys very helpful

We are absolutely delighted with our bed and mattress. The staff were a great help, from the lake branch. Isle of wight. We would recommend them to anyone. Very helpful, polite and patient. We'll done.

Well this company is just the worst. Just had a phone call to discuss my cancellation. Whatever I said to the lady so would only say that’s not true . We signed a contract. We are liable for cancellation fee. Please do not use. I felt very bullied by this person .If I could give a 0 I would. I feel this company is very deceitful. We ordered 2 sofas in March. We have not received any communication from this company to say where I order was up to. Phoned them only to be told that we would not have a delivery until August. August 19th. Over 6 months. We was not told about the estimated time frame which is 16 to 18 weeks. That was bad enough But now we have to wait a lot longer. So I cancelled them . Only to be told that we would have to pay £400 fee. That was on the Friday. So I went and had a think about it. Phoned back on Monday to be told it was going to be £600 odd . When I told her she said she would go and get some information and call me back. But no call back. So phoned again on Tuesday was answered by the guy I had spoken to on Friday. Only to be told that he never gave me a fee for cancellation. Where would I have got that figure from if he had not said it. I’m now waiting on the company to get the recordings of the conversations. I was also told by the lady that I talk to that this company that was making my sofas well was known for it’s lateness in delivery. Do not use if you don’t want to be waiting forever to get your furniture

We purchased a 3-seater and 2-seater settee which arrived 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The showroom staff had been most attentive and patient in our selection of exactly what we required. The delivery men arrived at the agreed time and did an exceptionally good job of delivering and assembly of the settees.( We live in an awkward location in a second floor apartment made worse because of landslides and road closures.) Our whole experience with this company has been totally hassle free and satisfying hence the good score.

Setting up home on the Isle of Wight meant buying new furniture Solent beds had everything i needed and delivered at the right time for moving in Made up beds put wardrobes together all with good will I would recommend them anytime

Thank you for all the help and accommodation of the delivery and of course the bits that didn’t fit! Was fantastic service from start to finish and we’d highly recommend to friends and family and use the services again.

After writing this review I was contacted by Solent Beds who reconsidered my complaint & have now resolved it. They have collected the sofa & returned the purchase price although we lost the £120 we paid for insurance . A reasonable result. Original complaint - Bought a sofa for almost £800 less than 6 months ago. Both of the cushions are sagging & we have been told to "dress" that is smooth out the cushions. I have never been told to do that before & we were not told about this when we bought it. The sofa is rubbish as is their customer services department. Do not buy a sofa from these people, you will be disappointed & out of pocket.

Excellent customer service very good product

We have recently purchased bunk beds, a small double and 2 full sized doubles from Solent beds. We have ordered a corner settee also and this will arrive in May. The staff in store are extremely helpful, and we have a very positive experience. I would recommend Solent Beds and Furniture. David one of the customer sales Team based in Newport has been particularly attentive and popped out to help with the beds. Nothing is too much trouble!. I will be purchasing from them in the future and would highly recommend . The delivery drivers were very friendly and helpful too.

Excellent service with very helpful delivery guys who placed the delivery exactly in the room I requested. TV Stand was exactly what I wanted and first class value for money ! I would recommend this Company 100%

Delivery went very well and our doggie finds the bed v comfy. So do I. We will order another in a larger size very soon and hope the experience will be as satisfactory.
