Having now received a reply from Backpacker I fully dispute that the courier attempted to deliver and can prove that. Meanwhile I called the customer service line 3 times (no reply to VM) - the www deflects you to a chat service that does not exist. Still have not received a refund

The bag broke after a month, the manufacturer will reapir it i was advised. The cost to return the duff bag is not too far off a new bag. Why would i oay tobreturn a duff bag so i can getba repaired bag back. Buy local as this comaony has poor service.

Suitcase ordered, emailed to check delivery time, was told it would be with me the next day (which it was) - thoroughly impressed. Only had a three day time slot before I leave on holiday, so knew it was a risk, but thebackpacker did the business. Major thumbs up for product, price and service.

I ordered a suitcase on the 9th of May and paid for delivery within 1-2 working days Its now the 12th and I only got an email to say my bag had been posted last night - but when I click on the tracking details, nothing is coming up and says tracking isn't available at this time Further more I've now emailed them 3 times in the past couple of days and received no response & I have called their phone line 2 times and left voicemails but have had no response..If the bag doesn't arrive by today I'll have to return it as it was needed for a holiday I head on tomorrow - but regardless the whole experience with this company has left a sour taste. Appalling / no customer service whatsoever!

Really disappointed in the customer service. I ordered a backpack and what was delivered was not what was pictured on the website. When I asked to return it, I was told that I would have to pay to return the item as Backpacker customer service (Michelle) disagreed that I’d been sent the wrong item. You can see on their website the black Herschel Settlement bag is a different photo to all the other colours of Herschel Settlement bag, they are different shapes and the zips are in different places. I’d been delivered the ‘correct’ bag as per the naming but the photo was and still is incorrect. We had many emails going back and forth with photographic evidence but they refused to really talk about it. I suggested a phone call to discuss at which point Michelle stopped emailing back (which from other reviews I can see has happened before). I tried phoning a few times but no response. I then emailed again and got a firm no. The main thing I’m really disappointed with is the refusal to discuss the issue and basically making me feel like an idiot even though I’m in the right. Won’t be ordering from them again
