United States | 29 January 2024Grayson Living usually has good prices but has horrible customer service. I recently bought a bed that arrived so badly damaged that I sent it back. I asked for a refund because I didn’t have another 5 weeks to wait for the replacement. I was promised a refund but kept receiving emails saying that I’d have to forfeit the $300 shipping charges. After a month of frustration, I still don’t have my money back. I won’t be doing business with them again.

United States | 22 January 2024I spoke to an associate about the delivery, I was disappointed that I would be charged extra for delivery in order for Grayson to inspect my furniture shipment and to set up in my home. I expect this from an online stone but not a reputable prestigious furniture company such as Grayson. I ‘m so disappointed with this treatment.

I missed the email they sent regarding this and they followed up with a phone call and a text- which is great because I get a lot of spam and sometimes miss important emails. I was able to then respond to the email.

The initial stages of my purchase, including navigating the website, the product selection process, and the payment process, were notably smooth and efficient. However, the situation took a turn when Metropolitan Warehouse (MW) was selected as the logistics provider. Regrettably, the delivery from MW resulted in the wrong item being dropped off at my location. Upon further investigation, it became apparent that the previous owner of the misplaced item had encountered similar issues with MW in a prior shipment from Anthropology. Upon contacting Grayson Living to address this issue, I was initially surprised by their approach. They suggested filing a claim, a process they estimated would take 4-5 days. I opted to provide all necessary information and images immediately, expecting a prompt resolution. Unfortunately, subsequent communication was minimal, and the next contact I received was from MW, informing me that my item had sustained damage rendering it undeliverable. The recurrent theme in this ordeal appears to be MW. The external truck, representing MW, mishandled the item, leading to its damage. This raises concerns about the overall reliability of MW's services. Grayson Living presented me with two options a week later – to have a new product shipped with white glove service or to receive a refund. The resolution, however, felt impersonal, and the suggested white glove service, while appreciated in certain circumstances, did not align with the straightforward nature of the product in question. Furthermore, despite my prior experience with MW, Grayson Living opted to engage their services again for the delivery of the replacement item. This decision, given my previous concerns, left me questioning the thoroughness of their commitment to customer satisfaction. The entire process, from the original order to the delivery of the replacement item, spanned approximately three months. Despite the delays and challenges, I must acknowledge that the Four Hands Sideboard Table in Walnut, once delivered, was in excellent condition and met my expectations. While I can recommend the product itself, it is worth noting that this item is available through multiple vendors. As for Grayson Living, my experience was marred by what felt like a lack of proactive and customer-centric engagement, particularly in their choice to persist with MW despite prior issues. This account is shared with the intent to provide a transparent review. Prospective consumers are encouraged to consider their own priorities and experiences when making a decision, and I would advise inquiring about the logistics provider associated with the purchase. A company of Grayson Living's stature should prioritize a seamless end-to-end customer experience, which unfortunately, in my case, fell short of expectations.
