United Kingdom | 06 February 2025Ordered a bike 8 weeks ago, the website said ‘built and dispatched in 2-3 weeks’ but all I’ve had is an email just over a month ago telling me it would be assembled to ship ‘next week’. The website still states hand built and dispatched in 2-3 weeks.

United Kingdom | 25 January 2025Ordered handlebars. Incorrect size, so I contacted customer services. After quite some time they responded, telling me to post back for a refund. Posted back and never heard anything - ever - again. I continuously chased, without a single reply....I will never use this company again.

United Kingdom | 29 October 2024Terrible, terrible service. Had numerous issues from day one, they progressively got worse so started interacting with them on email. Had a response that they would look into it, nothing since. I left comments on instagram to try and get someones attention and they just get deleted immediately. Bikes look great, delivery was OK, but follow up and quality has been appalling. Avoid if you can.

However, the BLB rack is not fit for purpose, really poor quality construction and I can’t actually put it together it’s so mis-aligned. Not Mango’s fault. However, I can’t get any contact to get a return sorted out, I’ve sent messages via my Mango bike account, sent an email and left a voicemail. All seemingly into the void

United Kingdom | 26 June 2024A part broke and we never received any support or help in how to source a replacement after trying calls, social media, emails. We just seem to have been ignored. Can't fix it at a bike repair shop as they need a Mango-specific part. So disappointing.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2024Looking at all the reviews I can relate to them, I got a bike from them. It turned into a rust bucket within months, cheap sprayed up frame and terrible components. Emailed them to get some answers and was just fobbed off the guy running it was a complete 🔔🔚. No wonder they are now bankrupt. Was lured in by the fancy marketing and website like everyone else. Stay well clear of this guy and any other company he starts up.

Do not buy from Mango Bikes, I know the website is all colourful and shiny, however I bought a customised bike from them in summer 2023, they took my money, never provided the product and went into liquidation. However as of Dec 2023 they are operating, posting 'feel sorry for me' social media posts about scraping by and trying to pick themselves up - this is because they've taken money from dozens of innocent customers like me. Shameful.

United Kingdom | 20 September 2023One of the most cobfusing order and delivery I have ever experienced in my life. I placed an order for a Norfee Industries bag from the Norfee website (I know, this does not make sense now under Mango Bikes, but I will explain) on the 4th of September. The website was saying that shipment would have happened between 3-5 days since the order confirmation, for EU countries. For this, a 14.99 euros shipping fee was requested. I was more than happy to pay this. Confirmation email was received immediately and this was stating I would have received another email when my order was ready to be shipped. I did not, so after few days I contacted Norfee Industries via the only available contact in their website: a support email. I asked if everything was ok. I did so because I decided to order the handlebar bag in advance, to have it in time for a friend's birthday and a cycling event we were taking part together. I sent the email on the 8th of September and I had no reply at all. Hence, on the 14th of September I tried to contact them through Instagram DM. Finally, someone replied to me, saying they were very sorry and that they had an issue: "looks like the connection between the website and the order system dropped abd we didn't notice" (this is what they replied on Instagram). I wonder if also their email system (where they should have my email in the inbox) dropped or disconnected. The person replying to my message apologised and said they were going to place an immediate upgraded express delivery. Nothing happened until the 18th of September, when Fastway confirmed my "Mango Bikes" parcel was on its way. You can imagine my surprise, since I was waiting for a Norfee Industries delivery. End of the story, I paid 14.99 euros for a 3-5 days delivery and I received my order 14 days after my order was confirmed. Obviously the order did not arrive in time for my friend's birthday nor for the event. Do you think that an upgrade for rxpress delivery is enough to make up for an issue that did not depend on me and for a total lack of communication? For them, it seems this is enough. For me, it is not. Hence, I will totally avoid this company/mix of companies or whatever it is.

United Kingdom | 28 August 2023I placed an order at the end of June for Single Speed Level 2, my confirmation email let me know that Mango would follow up in a few days to give an estimated ship date. Nothing came. I waited two weeks before chasing up, first via their chatbot, then Instagram DM, then I left a voicemail. None of these were responded to. At this point I decided to check Trustpilot, something I should've done before making my purchase, if I had done this I would've saved myself a lot of time and energy (and potentially money). If you're reading these reviews, a common theme you can pluck from them is that this company doesn't know what communication or customer service means. I did eventually get a response from Mango after I emailed them, the colour wheelset I had requested (black) wasn't available and I was offered a discount on a 3rd party upgrade. I agreed but then communication dropped off again, until I followed up almost a week later requesting to cancel. Apparently they were waiting for my replacement wheels to arrive before requesting payment, but how was I to know this after they didn't reply to my email. I requested a refund but this was not forthcoming so I've had to dispute the order with my bank. A few days ago I received an email from an Insolvency Practitioner about the liquidation of Norfee Bikes T/A Mango Bikes. So it seems that the show is probably over for Mango and I might not get back the £600 I paid for the bike I never received. There are lessons Mango could learn, but it doesn't look like they'll be in a position to apply them anyway. I've learnt to read the consumer reviews before making a purchase and to use my credit card next time, as Section 75 is a bit more forgiving.

United Kingdom | 25 August 2023If I could give it 0 stars I would. Terrible communication. I tried to cancel my order MULTIPLE times but received only a handful of responses. All of which assured me it would be cancelled however they have now gone ahead and shipped the bike that I did not want. I am now being charged for this. Do not order a Mango bike.

United Kingdom | 24 August 2023Unfortunately my experience of this company is as poor as it can be and it is disappointing to see that there are many other customers who have had the same unhappy experience as I have. In short, I ordered a saddle which arrived reasonably promptly but I had to return it as it didn't match my bike and, having read the returns policy, returned the saddle to Mango at my own expense. The saddle was delivered to them about a week later in mid-July 2023. This was after initiating a return on their website which did not generate a return label or even allow me to select a refund as an option (which is allowed according to their returns policy). I tried many ways, repeatedly, to contact them - via email, phoning and leaving messages, and using their chat tool - none of which have initiated a response from them. From reading others' reviews, I can see that my experience is mirrored in the experiences of other buyers. They seem to operate on the basis that if they ignore you for long enough, you will go away (never to return in my case). Buy from them if you like, but if there is a problem, you won't be getting your money back. I am disgusted by their dishonesty and lack of ethics.

Austria | 21 August 2023they lure you in with a very fancy looking website that makes them seem competent but in reality they are everything but that I ordered my bike 5 weeks ago in july.... according to their website shipping will take place between 3 to 5 days after ordering that is basically a lie since I have'nt even got an update on my order a week later, here I am trying to get somebody to answer my mails looking dumb.. how hard is it to let a customer know whats up with their 700$ purchase? stating such big lies on their website and adding poor to non existent communication makes me think about taking legal actions since other reviews report a similar experience

United Kingdom | 02 August 2023Remarkably similar experience to those below - great website, great choice and all looks very classy, but when you try to cancel the order.... No responses to webform or email, no answer on phone - webchat you do get a response, but so far I have had that 'refund will be in next 48 hours', 'refund will be in the next 24 hours' and 'refund will be this week'. You have to wonder if the company have bitten off more than they can chew - but hanging on to peoples cash is out of order. UPDATE 3rd August: Norfee bikes which is associated with Mango Bikes, and registered at same address with Companies House has a compulsory strike off notice on Companies House website dated 1st August - to be struck off and dissolved in 2 months time. Siggghhhhh...hence the delaying and ghosting

United Kingdom | 03 July 2023Ordered a bike on 27th May. It’s now 3rd July and still no bike. Basically missed the entire summer and the purpose of buying the bike. Update. I finally got through to them on Tuesday 12th July and spoke to a guy who appeared to be very helpful and agreed it had been a while. He said he would speak to his colleagues in the morning and ring me back. Over a week later I have heard nothing. Today, 19th July, almost two months after the purchase, I have filed a paypal case for a refund so I can buy one in store elsewhere. I would never buy a bike from this company - all you have to do is look at all the bad reviews of people with similar experiences. It is clear they are scammers. Update It is now August and no bike despite ordering it in May. I have put a claim in with paypal resolution centre.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2023Bought bike, decided after a week or so to cancel it as I hadn't heard anything from them about delivery and had emailed them to find out when delivery would be and it was just ignored, so requested order to be cancelled on 16th June and again email was ignored. Still no bike, still no communication. Now have today, opened a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. I would advise people not to buy from this company.

United Kingdom | 10 May 2023Bought a Norfee bar bag from Mango bikes because it was advertised as completely waterproof. It isn't at all waterproof, first sign of rain and the contents all ended up damp. I wouldn't give 1 star for that alone, but I've tried contacting them several times to discuss the issue and have had no response. Terrible customer service, definitely won't buy from them again.
