United Kingdom | 15 January 2025We have owned a Stannah Home Lift for six years. We would grade our overall experience with Stannah as satisfactory. The service we have received from Stannah engineers is best described as patchy. We have had to resort to barring one engineer, as we believe that the result of his support creates more damage than good and found his customer attitude unacceptable. Most engineers that do attend for maintenance or repair are pleasant and have a basic knowledge of our product. Engineers are expected to service a very large range of products and so have limitted experience of our model of Homelift. In addition the cost of ongoing maintenance and spares we find to be surprisingly expensive. For example a set of four support cables similar to bicycle brake cables that should hold the lift cover cost several hundred pounds to replace. The cost of ongoing maintenance inclusive of parts is over £120 pcm. Having said that the lift is reliable, having let us down only a couple of times.

United Kingdom | 13 January 2025Fabulous service (as usual) from Stannah! My daughter's stairlift suddenly stopped working at about 6.40pm. I called through on the number and the lady that I spoke to had an engineer out to us by 8pm that night. The battery wasn't working properly. It was all replaced very quickly and my daughter got her lift back. Very impressed at how quickly this all got sorted!
