I very rarely leave reviews, but for this I really felt compelled and this is definitely a positive review. As a lecturer of computer science I regularly teach the mechanics of scams and if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Motor source however should be commended for the deals they can offer which are as good as they sound. This is the first time I have bought a car in this way, all via telephone and email communication and I was very apprehensive, but from my initial dealings with Lewis Chapman, establishing the spec of car I wanted (along with a couple of factory fitted extras), to my ongoing communications with Claire Scott keeping me updated on progress it couldn’t have gone smoother. I did my due diligence and researched the company to be as happy as I could be before placing my order (£6,000 off list price) and checked delivery times through a local dealership to confirm delivery times were accurate (so no surprises when I was told delivery would be approximately 8 months). I was kept updated on progress of my order all the way by Claire from when the car was actually due to be built, down to when it was on way to Port of exit, when it arrived in the Uk and then when it arrived at the dealer and I needed to sort insurance and arrange delivery. Me with my “scam head” on still wasn’t happy to hand over so much cash before taking delivery so spoke to Lewis again and arranged HP finance through Motor Source which again was really easy and not at too bad an APR (and can be paid off at any time). I really needn’t have been so sceptical, on day of delivery I received a phone call from the delivery driver to provide an expected delivery time and sure enough the car I ordered arrived on a trailer all in one piece. This is probably my only slight negative in the whole process as I did miss out on the dealership pick up shiny new car experience, as it arrived on a trailer after a 5 hour trip in various weather conditions so was a bit dirty - but hey it saved me having to travel to collect and I did save a good amount of money on the new car price. All in all, a really positive experience and I’m already talking about what my next car will be that I buy through Motor Source. A very positive and easy experience from start to finish, and I will definitely be recommending Motor Source to my teaching colleagues.

Sold me the car I wanted 2

I have just received delivery of my audi a4. Ordered in december and arrived slightly earlier than initial estimate. Big discount compared to list price or other dealer prices. I was replacing the same car so i knew what i was getting so didn't have to go to a dealer to test drive etc. It really helped me doing everything via email rather than getting all the usual car salesman pressure which i find unpleasant. Kept up to date with progress of order when it got near the time for delivery. Delivery itself was smooth - it arrived at my door at 8am with a very pleasant man who had driven it up by trailer. Part exchange didn't work for me as offer price was a bit low and they had to pick it up in advance of new car delivery so i arranged that separately. I did feel a bit nervous at some points about paying for a car up front without physically going into a dealership but it all worked out well for me.

Friendly, no pressure sales advice and superb savings over the price from a normal car dealership. The whole process so far has been very easy and I look forward to updates on the delivery of my new car.

After making an enquiry the service that I have been given has been excellent.I was given all the information that I needed to make an informed decision about buying a car without any pressure at all to proceed. communication has been excellent and each stage of the process has been carefully explained and contact details for an allocated member have been shared so that you can contact them directly should any further questions arise.

Got in touch with Lewis at Motor Source again as he was my salesman for my last two vehicles. Absolutely first class service in terms of speedy replies and getting my order processed. Claire, my delivery coordinator, was in touch as soon as the order was placed - again, spot on service from the MS group as always. Can’t recommend using them enough and when I’m due to change cars I’ll no doubt me in touch!
