United Kingdom | 22 August 2024Nothing Fair about Homefair CAVEAT EMPTOR. Odd how when ordering and taking money Homefair can accommodate there seemingly unmovable schedules and swiftly provided a PM appointment presumably to take the money. The person who arrived was friendly and courteous he advised it will take a few weeks to be made and I told the fitter because of ongoing hospital treatment it had to be a PM fitting he responded yes OK because I will be returning to fit? Absolutely no mention whatsoever of a return PM fit being a problem. I have explained far too many times now and made it absolutely clear why we need a PM appointment when Homefair say no PM appointments clearly except for measuring and taking customers money that is not true because Homefair told me they can provide a PM fit on Saturday, the plot thickens however we would have to pay an additional premium for a PM appointment, unfortunately this PM appointment was far too short notice and in any case I do not like being told untruths told no PM appointments and then offering a PM appointment is unprofessionally, Homefair will accommodate a PM appointment as long as you pay an extra premium which is totally unacceptable and poor behaviour, the important thing to remember about Homefair, is a PM appointment is available as long as you pay a premium personally this practise is concerning. Each time I have insisted on a PM Homefair responded by pushing back fitting by another month and now yet another month to October, punishment for explaining the reasons why we are unable to accept an AM appointment. Homefair totally ignored our valid reasons. Why, we have ongoing daily hospital treatment. Homefair's rather bizarre unsympathetic response was to schedule another date another month on? Just to be clear we paid for our blinds on 16th July following a Pre-arranged Pre-scheduled PM appointment. So a PM appointment is possible Homefair have proved this by arranging a PM measure and more importantly our Take Payment. Homefair are fully aware of why it important to book a PM appointment, I took full responsibility to inform Homefair of a cancellation due to an emergency admission to Wythenshawe why? well because it's acting with respect and more importantly because it was the right thing to do, sadly Homefair's door only swings . . one way, the unconcerned obstructive way. You have been warned.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2024We ordered and paid for supply and fit a vertical blind following the fitting of a new kitchen. This was 16th July. We were given a date for fitting 1st Aug. Unfortunately I was admitted to hospital and I had to cancel. Given a date in September but at a time no one is home (we advised at home pm) I now have to wait until 3rd Oct unless I want to pay more for a Saturday appt. We wrote to Johnathan Fitton CEO and he bounced it back to the person who makes the appointments so we are back to square one. Not so slow to take the payment but customer service is non existent.

Dave who measured and fitted our blinds was very professional, he made sure everything was correct before he left and took away all the packaging. Imran work with pride , love his job and was professional all through from measuring to fitting he did a clean job , tided up after every drilling to fit the blinds with more cleaning up afterwards, I didn't have to do anything cleaning after he completed the job, quote was fairly priced and high quality blinds fitted , I will highly recommend Homefair Blinds & Shutters .
