United Kingdom | 10 August 2024UPDATE: This is an update from my last review, I had someone measure up approximately 2 weeks ago (this is now the 4th measure up), the blinds and fitter arrived 2 days ago but yet again the blinds don't fit for a second time, I then received a phone call yesterday that someone would come today to fit the blinds, FINALLY the blinds have been fitted today, after 7 weeks of constantly chasing you and numerous people measuring up and blinds having to be returned it's a joke. A few weeks ago I spoke to Andrew at the Denton branch about some sort of compensation due to all the mess ups on your end to which I was told " the full amount needs to be paid before we can discuss compensation" I have been left no choice but to pay as the fitter said if we don't the blind will be taken down, the fitter tried to contact Andrew, no answer, we tried different branches but as its Saturday, we couldn't get hold of anyone, I know ringing your denton branch on Monday will be pointless as they will not answer my calls, which has already happened on a couple of occasions, I am left no choice but to contact your co owner's to find out if there is any compassion or understanding within this business, customers shouldn't be made to feel like this I have had all this messing around for 7 weeks and I have been charged full price for the pleasure, your reply to my last post in which you stated I have highlighted some internal issues that would get resolved, I fail to see what has been resolved, you have a manager with the biggest ego and no customer service skills, a branch or head office that may or may not answer the phone and that you have to constantly chase up otherwise you don't hear anything back, Your denton branch has real lack of understanding when it comes to business and the employee's need to be reminded customers help the business stay solvent, without customers you have no business.

It seems Homefair class 1P.M. as an a.m. appointment - not good. Guy who came to fit the blind was very apologetic.

We used Homefair again to complete some newly re-decorated rooms. Scott came to measure and provide a quotation, a pleasant and professional man. The quote was provided very quickly after the visit, following completion of redecorating we were booked in for installation (approx. 3 week wait which we did not mind) Imran fitted all blinds throughout, also a pleasant and professional fitter who took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect. He even cleaned any dust from the blinds and took away all packaging post fitting. We would highly recommend Homefair for anyone in the market for new blinds. Thank you
