The service I’ve obtained from Bidvine has been fantastic. It’s easy to do especially if like me you are not too good on the computer. Information is given virtually straight away, so you can organise what you need and when. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone.

Bidvine is fantastic idea. I am writing in response to the reply from Bidvine. It is sad you think it is appropriate to use the pandemic as an excuse for the plumber not being able to give a precise time after initially being clear and precise. He made no reference to the delay being related to the pandemic. He said he was running late because he was asked to hang a door I am Key worker and being on time is important to me as I needed to go to work on the evening of the appointment booked with your service. Or do you think I should only consider your clients time when your client obviously did not respect mine ? However not a good experience for me. I needed someone to install my washing machine. Pretty straightforward if you have the tools. I contacted Bidvine last night. I received three quotes and needed the washing machine installed today (unfortunately the leading electrical company from whom I purchased the washing Machine are not doing installations except for gas and electric cookers due to Covid 19 ). Anyway I received three quotes from Bidvine and went for the cheapest. I received email confirmation from a Plumbers manager that a plumber would arrive at 3pm today. Great ! I thought. I then received a text from the plumber informing me he is in BQ in the queue waiting for a door as he will be going to fit the door and will call me at 3pm to let me know what time he would arrive. I immediately cancelled as the confirmation on email was a 3pm appointment. The plumber clearly let me know that his other job was more important than mine. Not a good start especially as it was the first time I decided to use Bidvine. The upside is the other two plumbers from whom I received and refused their higher priced quotes called and politely informed me should I need any work done in the future to please get in touch with Bidvine and they will be pleased to help. In the end I did manage to get another plumber not through Bidvine. This plumber charged exactly the same price as the first plumber (who didn’t turn up) The plumber I managed to get responded at short notice. I now have a brand new washing machine installed and working. The Jury is out on whether I will use Bidvine in the future!
