United Kingdom | 15 June 2020My landlord has decided to do the work himself however as the trnant having to source the contractors I was impressed with Bidvine- their website is easy to use and thorough ensuring both parties know the extent of the work and the friendliness of the replies and conversing was a massive plus. Even though the decision for the work at the flat was taken out of my hands, I have already recommended Bidvine to another friend.

United Kingdom | 15 June 2020AVOID THIS PLATFORM! Some of the Pros using this platform are FRAUDs. I recently had an incident where a tradesmen cheated me of money and when I highlighted this to the BIDVINE team, I was informed, it was my responsibility and they are not liable for any losses arising from fraud happening using their platform. More shockingly, I was also informed by one of their customer service representative (via email), they are NOT obligated to VET any tradesmen doing business through their website. I did my investigation and found out, this person who was trading as a PLUMBER was using a fake company name DJS Property Services which accordingly to Companies House was registered with someone esle and was also dissolved, also this person was using a fake name to trade, so it clearly shows BIDVINE team did not do any background checks before allowing this person to trade using their platform. I highly recommend BARK or RATED PEOPLE, as at least on these website you will find genuine honest tradesmen and you can be assured you are cheated of your money. --- RESPONSE TO BIDVINE Well if you say you do verification then your team is certainly not doing a very good job. DJS Property Services was dissolved on 22nd January 2020, the first review that came on this person's profile on Bidvine was 30th January 2020. This shows the person was using a fake company name and perhaps even the reviews put in are fake. So either your company is complicit in this fraud to earn money or your team is not doing a very good job at it. I have provided all email conversations, all bank statement and every possible communication I had with this person to your customer support team and what response did I get? We will share this information if the police requests it...that's it! You said you are freezing his Bidvine account, but what if he creates another account with another dissolved company name. How will you check that, If you didn't check it in the first place. If you really want to act as a responsible platform, 1. make sure you do thorough vetting 2. check the review posted for tradesmen are true or false, as most new customers check the reviews first and fall into trap 3. be insured, so if some genuine honest customers are defrauded using your platform, then as an honest company, you can take full responsibility and give refund to the customer for the loss. 4. Be proactive to highlight to the investigating authorities by sharing any fraudster information rather than waiting for the authorities to contact you. If you can't take responsibility and feel liable to any transactions happening using your platform, please shutdown, there are lots of other alternative solutions, why should people come on your platform to find tradesmen. And please don't reply to this post in standard generic words, that is more irritating.

(I first rated a 5 star) Edit August 2020: Now that I have been using this platform for a while, I will say that it isn't as great as it first appears. I started to question validity of request and when started questioning, it became apparent that the customer service reps are just scripted. Instead of doing "whats" right, they want to hide behind their scripted versions of their truths. Sad because this platform does have potential if they would start listening to their professionals and what the different professionals require for requests and actually start making it fair instead of just in Bidvine's favour

Thank you to Ahmed who spoke with me. You can be sure you have a new Music Pro on board. Original post I am both Appalled and disgusted that as a Pro trying to make ends meat, Bidvine is exploiting the Pro Subscribers and taking money that they are not entitled to.(Ok in my opinion) I am not normally one to put any type of review, but I really want people who are thinking of putting up an advertisement on Bidvine to think seriously before you do. Now I get that it says that they will charge for the bid, what they don't say, is that they charge instantly once a person has VIEWED the bid. Not once they have made contact with the Pro, or once a job has been agreed to, the customer only has to VIEW the bid and the and a charge is taken per BID!!! As you're probably aware I got stung and yeah to be fair I should have read this all properly. But to be honest I am fairly intelligent, but no where does it say on the home page (which is where you would start) that they will be taking fees from your account (in my case Paypal) when a person has simply VIEWED the bid. There is no way on earth i would have agreed to sign up for this. And.. to add insult to injury you have a monthly subscription to pay which starts at £12.00per month so that you can bid. I seriously think Trading Standards need to look at how unethical this type of website is.

United Kingdom | 03 June 2020As a web & software developer, I find my facebook and google lead generation campaigns to be more profitable rather than go for Bark or Bidvine. Problem with Bidvine - Anyone can post their requirement, you mostly pay upfront around £10 to £35 per lead (if sending by bidmatch). Most of the time never hear from lead after they ask you to contact, or they are not sure when they'd want to start, or just checking market rates (at our expense). Till date with a BidMatch (auto bidding), I have spent around £400 and got £350 in return. So not profitable at all

Romania | 02 June 2020Worst experience ever had people write me asking silly questions not really interested in anything that I have to pay for out of my own pocket , I've had to go to costumers houses that gave fake information about what actually needed to be done only because they didn't know how to measure square meters and didn't know what do order but they need you only and only to measure what's there without paying you and would end up doing the work themselves I don't recommend this site at all . So after I posted this they tried to remove my rewiew saying that i didnt have a account with them I actually showed proof now their saying one house I have 4 charges to my bank for 28 £ plus they give you 30£ from them it all went on people just asking me questions than saying oh ok ...... I know my field of work I've done flooring since 14 I'm a expert at what I do dont let these people's underhanded tactics get you and take your money .
