United Kingdom | 26 January 2020Bidvine has been gold dust in helping me set up my new business BlowFish Glass UK. From finding the right logo designer, website designer, photographer and writer I’ve been able to work full time as well as develop my own things. You search for the service you need and your postcode and pros ‘bid’ on your request. You look at you bidders profiles and choose which pro you want to hire. You can use it for anything, from dog walkers to personal trainers. The app is free for customers but of course you pay your help to what the pro has quoted, which has always been very reasonable in my experience. The app is ace basically. I think you should all download it.

United Kingdom | 25 January 2020Absolutely brilliant! I used bidvine for the first time and the experience was seamless from the platform to the service provider to the cost and practicality of it all. Can't believe how wonderful this is and will be using it for everything going forward. Quite stunned (in a good way)!

United Kingdom | 24 January 2020I opted to use bidvine for a small furniture assembly job that I wanted completed after struggling to find reliable tradespeople in my local area. I found the whole process really simple and straightforward and easy to use - from the posting of the job, to the range of responses I received quoting to do the job. Based on my positive experience I would certainly use bidvine in the future. Yvonne

United Kingdom | 24 January 2020After a long time having to prove that I was a Bidvine pro and getting my review reinstated I have just had a reply from Bidvine. The usual old rubbish (they must have said the same thing at least 4 different ways now!). I’ve had a good look through reviews, it seems to work for some types of businesses but my business (property photography) doesn’t seem to be one of them. Other photographers and similar appear to find the same as me, Responding to requests, you get no replies, no one gets hired (according to Bidvine stats). If you ask the requester politely why you haven’t had a ‘thanks but no thanks’ response their not even polite enough to respond to that. have had it now. Strangely just as you say ‘I’m coming off’ weirdly you get a couple of requests. Ok you think I’ll give it another try... well no more. Bye bye Bidvine.

United Kingdom | 17 January 2020I'm a professional photographer, and I've been using Bidvine since October 2019. Bidvine's business model, where professionals using their service have to pay up-front to respond to enquiries from potential customers, poses some very big problems. Bidvine has no system in place to weed out time-wasters, and will charge you what can be quite a substantial fee to respond to enquiries even if they don't result in a paying job. This means you're taking a risk by replying, but they take no risk at all and get paid either way, which seems unfair to say the least. It's also a system that is open to abuse; I wouldn't want to make any accusations, but there's no way to prove that all enquiries are genuinely from potential customers. Their pricing structure for responding to enquiries is also complicated and opaque, and the "Bidmatch" system of automatic replies can get expensive very quickly if you don't pay close attention to the settings. I've responded to about a dozen enquiries in four months, costing me around £80, and only got three fairly minor paying jobs, making me around £250. I'd be a lot happier about recommending Bidvine if they switched to a fairer system like that used by Poptop and a few other agencies, who only take a commission on deposits from confirmed bookings. As it stands, I'd only recommend Bidvine to professionals if you're sure you can afford the up-front payments.

United Kingdom | 06 January 2020I am reviewing Jeneva Leonard-Kutler a Yoga teacher, I am very pleased with Jeneva as a Yogi. It is the first time I have done yoga and I was made to feel comfortable and welcomed-the lesson is both professional and personable. One is not at all pushed to do anything un comfortable or difficult and I am very pleased to have met Jeneva and have her as my yogi. Jeneva also sets a controlled and easily manageable pace during the lesson and explains the moves that you are doing-Great teacher

United Kingdom | 21 December 2019Used Bidvine to find a videographer for my wedding this june... he turned up on the day which was a good start but still waiting to receive my wedding video and can no longer get hold of him. Very concerned and upset I wont have a video of our special day.

United Kingdom | 11 December 2019The categories for selecting a musician don't make sense. I have written to Bidvine on more than one occasion as the form answers that customers give, don't help you to spend your money on responding. For example, how can someone request Country, then request All songs, then request Instrument only.... just not logical. I haven't replied to one enquiry as £3.60 is not well spent just to figure out what the client wants.

United Kingdom | 09 December 2019By far the best platform, from a supplier's point of view. Excellent for keeping in touch with potential customers and those that have hired you. Also the cheapest! The insights and reviews aspects are also without equal. The quality of leads is a lot better - all have dates, budgets and timelines so you know they are serious enquiries. I wouldn't even think of using any other platform.

United Kingdom | 09 December 2019I did try to put a frank post but Bidvine reported it and without legal proof I was told I have to be selective with my words so here is my revised feedback. Bidvine makes me dubious in relation to some of the adverts and if you scrutinise them carefully you will notice this yourself, who quality controls the adverts, a client looking for someone to work for 3hours starting at 2:15am on December 25th? I have been monitoring the website for over a year, in that time I have gathered that 65% of the adverts are genuine customers but you could end up spend £50- £90 before you get a paid job through the site and after you've calculated that you have offered low prices, you've paid bid vines for several adverts, travel, time you could end up in a deficit, don't expect to get high paying jobs through the site, if you do you are an anomaly . The money that the customer states is never really their budget, example if a customer states their budget is £500-£750 usually they are looking to spend around £300. If they state that their budget is under £500 sometimes clients don't have more than £50 but expect several hours work. Your expectation as a service provider is always different from the expectations of the customers that use the service. It's not really about quality but the cheapest offer. What I did find distasteful was the amount of times I had made bids to customers that were just exploring and had no intention on spending any money, then they disappeared from the site because they changed their mind, but you as the service provider is charged for responding to their advert, anything from £4- £9 for every single response. They state that if the customer doesn't look at the advert you get back your money with 4 days but that is rare. Customer service is pointless and time consuming, they will give you long messages to tell you it was your fault in terms of pricing or your profile needs updating, they are infuriating but they play within their terms and conditions . So if you plan to join Bidvine, expect to offer cheap prices with the possibility of limited work. Do not count on Bidvine as your main source of income. Plus remember the company is all about perception so a lot of their positive reviews can you guarantee they are genuine?
