I canceled my subscription and they still charred me and without any noticing email. And i cannot remove my card details from my account. be careful with this. Update They were helpful and provided a refund also will delete my card details. Still annoying that no mail to remind you that you will be charged. For this I will update to 3 stars.

This is a total scam. At first it said there was a free trial, then it charged $34.85 A MONTH! Why would a cover letter template need to charge monthly? I cancelled when I finally realized, asked for a refund for simply the last month (which hadn’t started) and I was charged again instead of being given the promised refund. This service is a TOTAL SCAM.

The platform was very easy to use. The templates were exactly what I needed when applying for different jobs.

I love how you took key points in my resume and were able to apply & incorporate them into a letter that would be appealing to an employer.

Something is fishy—even on this review page. The product is fine, but it is heavily promoted as free, and then you get charged and passively signed up for a subscription if you don't actively cancel. A fishy thing to me is that the Review total has only 8% one-star reviews, but about half I see are one-star, and some with very negative headlines are five stars.(Check out GC and M Smith below.) The review number seems inflated. Also, know that CoverLetterNow and MyPerfectResume are the SAME company--so you get charged twice for things promoted as free. Finally, as another recent reviewer writes, you cannot remove your payment info. I called and they said you cannot do it from the site but they can send an email with a special link to delete your data. Said it would take up to 30 days. Funny, it took less than 30 seconds to take the info and bill us--hopefully the deletion actually happens in 30 days but it should take 30 seconds.

It's a scam. Look at the reviews below. The same thing happened to us. We googled "cover letter template" and got a bunch of hits with the word FREE. We clicked the free help, got charged $2-3 dollars a few minutes later, and ended up with a $23.85 charge. They say we are now cancelled but the acct. still shows up online and we can't get our payment info off. I am not comfortable with that. In reality, how many people are going to substantially change their one-page cover letter on a monthly basis? If a person runs a career center or is an English teacher, I suppose but with everyone else, the goal is to dupe you into paying a subscription after posting the word FREE multiple times. The fact that you have to call or email to cancel is also odd. There is no way to do if from your actual account.

Good website for a cover letter but subscription is misleading. I purchased their 14 trial for $2 but was then charged $23 later on and I was, for some reason, enrolled in their reoccurring subscription. Be careful and I beg you to not make the same mistake I did.

I was in a hurry for a cover letter, needed in minutes. I was amazed at how fast accurate and professionally written it was. I got the job! I'm sure this will be my last full-time job, so I was going to cancel my subscription. When I called to cancel, I was so pleased at how nice the gentleman was, his professionalism was bar none the best customer service rep I've ever delt with. He signed me up with a discounted plan and showed me the full functionality of their system. He explained I could use it to help friends and family put together their resume and cover letter and search all their job postings. Keep up the fantastic work you are doing, and you will be the dominant player in the resume creating and job posting applications in the industry. Thanks again for all your help.

9/5/24 I recently had some charges that needed to be addressed, and I was pleased to find that they were promptly refunded. Thank you 8/21/24 I only intended to pay for ONE letter, but I was mistakenly charged for a 2-month subscription without my permission. To make matters worse, I received no receipts or notifications of these transactions via email or mail, leaving me unaware of the ongoing charges. Upon reviewing my account, you will see that I only used the service for ONE month and was charged for 2 additional months without my knowledge. I kindly request an immediate refund for these unauthorized charges.

The customer service representative who helped me today was knowledgeable and efficient while helping me cancel my membership.

I cancelled this subscription before I was charged the monthly trial, yet I was charged 2 months after I had cancelled. I called and they acted as if they had no record of my cancellation, and asked for my contact phone even though they dont collect that data. Do not use this company, as they are not honest.

I cancelled this through my apple which I have done with other companies. They didn't cancel it at all and charged me. When I requested a refund as I had cancelled it previously to them charging me they only refunded me half of my money. Also, as this transaction should never had went through my account was overdrawn and I received extra charges from my bank. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF
