Using Deposit a Gift was seamless and we appreciated all of the marketing tips and support we received. Our Giving Tuesday event was a big success.

This was wonderful for our wedding registry. Both my husband and I have lived on our own for quite some time and have been living together for the past couple of years. We really didn't need more "stuff," we just needed money for repairs on the house and for student loan bills. This helped us a lot. I just wish more people had used it.

Used this very successfully for our wedding registry. Only reason i didn't give it five stars is that the look of the site is rather clunky and unattractive, but otherwise totally awesome.

Deposit a Gift provided a great option for us for a wedding registry. Feedback we received from 2 guests however, was that they gave us cash gifts rather than using the site because the currency in DAG was not AUD, incurring bank currency exchange fees on top of an exchange rate that was not the best available, on top of dagsite fee (which we could have opted to pay ourselves in the initial setup).

Deposit a gift is an easy to use, reliable, and trustworthy site. The only issue I had is the fee they charged. I thought the fee was only 3%, but ended up being like 7-7.5%. I'm not sure where I misread that.

the basic premise behind DAG is good, but a few things I would say would help vault you ahead of the pack: 1) update your design options! The web "customization" is fine, but the graphic options are way out of date and make the final web pages look really stale and old school 2) provide the unique URL as something that is more like a short code. It's way to clunky with the promo name and "dag....." Make it easy to remember and type in 3) include other stats for analysis such as, a " how did you hear about us" question, and maybe an optional "why I'm supporting xyz foundation" question Btw- I see a lot of comments about " pricing not being clear " - what is UNCLEAR is why people don't read the clearly marked "Terms and Conditions/please read about our pricing structure" content. It's right there and plainly spells out how it works. I did like the ability to export the list data and the info captured The ease of checkout was great The fee structure was an attractive and compelling reason to use DAG

I can't say how easy it was to set up our Deposit A Gift site and once we got the ball rolling, the staff has been SO supportive and encouraging. They have a wealth of knowledge on what works for running a successful crowdfunding campaign and are proactive and encouraging in sharing it. We are working on a long-term, large goal and so the ideas and suggestions have helped us think outside the box. Whenever I have had questions about our experience using the platform, they are quick to answer.

Loved the possibility of creating our " own website" for the baby shower, and surprisingly many guests used it - I was scared people would not really "get it" , but they did! Thank you!!

This was an easy giving site to build. I received VERY helpful emails throughout the process. Any questions that I had were answered very quickly and effectively. I also like the waived fee for giving tuesday. That was great!

I was extremely pleased with the level of expertise - the DAG team provided excellent suggestions and service. The site itself was very user friendly. The contribution page/thank you did not indicate that the transaction was in USD which took our Canadian donors by complete surprise when their credit card bills came in 30% higher than expected. Unfortunately we have had to take our page down as a result.

Deposit a Gift was a perfect choice for our international wedding. My husband is Italian and I am American. We had our wedding in his hometown in Tuscany. With Deposit a Gift we were able to give the opportunity to contribute easily to our friends and family in different parts of the world.

Deposit a Gift is fabulous! There is no better way to to gather donations for teacher gifts. The site has terrific functionality, and if a donor makes a mistake or another issue comes up, their staff responds quickly to explain the situation and find a solution. They are great! They make coordinating community gifts so much more efficient! In NC, teacher salaries have stagnated. This site gives families in our community the chance to share some holiday donations with every person who works in our school. The first year we had to raise our goal we raised so much so fast. And we've done better and better every year thanks to this fabulous site!

I had ever even heard of "Deposit a Gift" before receiving a message about its work for GivingTuesday, but they could not have been more helpful or patient in getting our page created and providing a host of suggestions to make sure we could be successful. I never expected the kind of personal attention that we received from this team, and we are actually going to keep Deposit a Gift as the donation vehicle for our small nonprofit now that GivingTuesday is over - partly because they just charge a small percentage of the donation, rather than a monthly fee - and partly because we received such great service.

Great company. Worked exactly as expected.

Prices are reasonable, the interfaces are easy, the customer service top-notch, the designs are simply beautiful.... they even give free webinars to help new users! The only caveat is that DepositAGift doesn't offer the possibility of recurring monthly giving. Otherwise no reservations whatsoever - it's a great site for all your short or long term campaigns. Particularly the immediate-need ones (house burned down, friend in hospital, need a collective gift for grandma's 80th birthday, etc.)

The steps for building our page were clear and effective. And the tips for spreading the word on Giving Tuesday and beginning to build a donor base online moved us forward. We still have much to learn, and we are hopeful that Deposit a Gift will contribute to that learning.

Verbiage used by staff was not geared to nonprofits ("pricing" for acknowledgment gifts, etc) Cost of using the service was NOT clearly explained upfront. Phone service was advertised but when requested we were told we were expecting "too much", and they would not be providing "consulting" services. When we stated that the costs were not clearly explained we were berated and the owner was very defensive and accusatory - very poor customer service. We were trying out the service, and if it worked would have done another larger campaign in the spring. As it is we will not and will warn others away.
