We thought it was quite easy to use Deposit a Gift - both filling out the format (once you searched the options and a bit and decided how you wanted to do it) and withdrawing the money after all was said and done. I think the only issue was the fee that either had to be paid by you or your donators. That was a tricky and difficult decision we had to make. But overall we had a good experience and found it easy to create our webpage and receive money.

Deposit a gift was an excellent choice! They are fast, reliable, and easy to use. I will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

We used Deposit a Gift to help raise money to enhance our preschool's outdoor learning area. Our goal was to raise $12,000 and we were able to exceed this goal very easily! We were so happy to raise over $15,000 which enabled us to purchase large durable wooden building sets for the playground. Our preschool families appreciated being able to give money to something concrete. We set up the fundraiser to allow families to sponsor a block or set of blocks which allowed them to feel connected to the donations in a new way. The fundraiser site was extremely easy to set up. As our fundraiser was also part of an event (a trike-a-thon!) we also loved having an event home to direct our donors and families to. DAG's customer service is outstanding. We had very few issues but when we did have questions they were answered personally and quickly! I would not hesitate to use DAG again in the future!

I have never used any type of on line fund raise / gift registry and I researched quite heavily on this subject before choosing DepositAGift. So far the design, set up, management of & cash out process has all been flawless! My only issue is I cannot seem to get the link out to more people for donations. I have thrown it onto FB a few times, sent in group emails, etc. so any other high profile ideas may be helpful. Over all, I love this concept & company!!

We loved the concept of the site and were able to add on things that seemed really cool and people enjoyed gifting. While the fees are a little high, since we had a lot of guests and people who couldn't make it abroad, it was a great and efficient way for people to give gifts. Great concept, great site.

We earned $555 and we only received $420. The website is very archaic and not user friendly. A rip off.

This was so easy and nice to use. Some people enjoy buying a gift and this allowed them to pick a gift item. They felt like they were buying a gift and we loved the fact it was just cash. As we already had everything we needed. This was easy and convenient for our guests.

As we prepared for my friend's husband's repast, it was very difficult to meet with everyone and collect monies from those who wanted to donate towards the repast. An acquaintance suggested an online donation account to make the process easier. After reviewing a few, I decided to go with deposit a gift. In the beginning I was a bit leary and not happy because there is a 72 hour wait period before receiving each donation and then a final approval for cash out. However, after talking with their customer representative (Julie) who explained their reasons for these safeguards I was extremely pleased and would recommend them to others.
