United Kingdom | 26 February 2020Refund due from FOS complaint. Automated Email received from Sunny to say that payment will be made in accordance to the FOS final decision letter (within 4 weeks). Updated bank details to be told that payment will now be issued within 30 days. The 4 weeks was up last Monday, so the payment has not been paid in accordance to the FOS letter. Not happy!

United Kingdom | 25 February 2020I accepted the Payday load refund offer that Sunny put to me and the Financial Ombudsman advised that Sunny would contact me within 4 weeks. Needless to say no one has contacted me and I have been told that I have to email my bank details to the company and then have to wait a further 30 days for this refund to be paid, through no real fault of my own. It is very frustrating and Sunny customer service are fairly useless and just advise me to email Elevate credit. It is quite ridiculous that this company willing to pay loans within minutes and take payments instantly can't pay money that they have agreed to pay in the same amount of time.

United Kingdom | 25 February 2020So i have been in contact with sunny waiting for my final outcome and the fact that every person i have spoken to doesn't seem bothered. They always use the full 8 weeks given to them by the FCA and enjoy telling you this rather than trying to resolve the problem as soon as possible. I know its not just me as i have read countless reviews on this page which state the same. Again its entirely different if Sunny were waiting for a response and you would be hounded on the phone. Due to the point in my life where i am at this has had such a huge impact on both my physical and mental health which i did explain to Sunny however that was responded with "We are still within our 8 weeks given to us by the FCA etc and no indication that they would try to resolve this as soon as possible. Update - They rejected all my claims and i have raised it to the FOS.

Why cant they just start the process the time you send your agreement and bank details I even phoned them and confirmed that I accept and confirmed the bank details also so not just a email spoke direct with sunny and the agent was very helpful and understanding i must say. So please sunny can you just please send me my refund please. Update day 22 still no payment called my bank trillions of times. 2nd update day 29 and still no payment I expect you sunny to put it in my account this afternoon please. Update payment received thank you sunny.

I could really do with the amount to be deposited into my account to help towards the situation im in. 30 days is really too long to make customers wait considering that when I missed a payment I was hounded with phone calls and messages asking me to pay. Customer services were not understanding at all when I rang to arrange payments. Now I'm owed I can't seem to get through or i get cut off. Will update when I receive my redress offer in my account. update I have received my money in my bank account provided this afternoon.
