Zero Gravity is an amazing organisation, whereby it provides the hope, confidence and drive for a student to be as successful as they can be no matter their background.

My Mentor experience with Zero Gravity was a big part of the reason that I was able to aim for the university I wanted to get into. My mentor helped me through everything from university/course selection to writing my personal statement.

Zero gravity has been amazing so far and provides you with lots of resources and opportunties. I would say that the mentoring system is probably the most helpful resource for students you get to have an up to date and inside scoop on university life and applications. The community forum is also nice as you get to interact with others who have the same subject/career interests as you do. Overall, I would say that Zero Gravity is an excellent platform for all students, especially for students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.

I’ve had a great overall experience with zero gravity. I had a mentor during college when I was applying to university in which they helped me with my entry exams, interview prepu, questions I had about university, personal statement and much more. I even had the opportunity in which I was successful in their own zero gravity scholarship which has helped me so much during university.

It helped me work less hours and focus more on my studies

I was told about Zero Gravity by the Higher Education team at my sixth-form college after I expressed an interest in applying to Cambridge. However, I have since been using it to help me with virtually all elements of my university applications. The platform has extensive resources including wiki guides, access to online masterclasses with Q&A sections (and their recordings!), and forums where you can interact with both peers and mentors, who are students or former students that are super helpful as they are knowledgeable from their experiences of the university application process (and, of course, the university experience itself). Personally, I found the masterclasses on writing a personal statement, including my subject specific talk, to be invaluable in helping me get to grips with what I found to be a particularly challenging part of the application process. As a Zero Gravity member, you also have the opportunity to be assigned a mentor to advise you personally - typically this will involve weekly video calls via the platform where you can discuss anything that you would like support with. There is also a chat you can use to message your mentor directly between sessions. My mentor is lovely and has been a great source of knowledge about university, which has been very helpful to me as a first-generation student, because I wouldn't otherwise be able to speak to someone who has been to university. They have also been very reassuring throughout the whole process, and have helped me to feel more confident about my own ability to successfully apply and go to university. Overall, I would recommend Zero Gravity to anyone who wants support with applying to university, because it's wealth of resources and support has been instrumental in helping me make informed decisions as I apply to university.

I find this so so useful, a mentor who personalises feedback for me on my personal statement, for my case my LNAT essays, and so much more! Cannot express into just words how much this has supported me.

good experience, I liked the fact that it would remind you that you had a call with your mentor on a particular day because otherwise I definitely would have forgotten otherwise. It also meant I had consistent calls with my mentor and I think it really helped with my academics as well.

Zero gravity is such an amazing organisation that really supported to me to get into university! From helping me prepare for UCAT and my medical interviews. I am now a first year med student. I am so grateful for my mentor who helped me manage the workload but also the mental stress.

Ever since I’ve joined Zero Gravity, I have been treated as if I have something to offer. I believe that is how many others on the various programmes ran by Zero Gravity would feel too. I have received many opportunities, including internship, mentorship, and scholarship programmes. For example, I was invited to a Zero Gravity auction event, where I was able to network and meet other students on the programme.
