Hi, Called your staff this morning with regards to an email send in the 1/6 which neither acknowledgement nor respond received. Explain the whole situation and the reason as to why I would like to cancel my flight owing to Covid 19 and strict quarantine practices. I ask what happen to my previous email and was told that only a credit note is available from Malaysia Airlines which I very much doubt it and also been told by the staff that a credit voucher/nite will be with me within 14 days of them applying for it which is on the 6/6 when they processed this. Also I was in quandary as to why the validity of the credit voucher/note is valid until Feb credits." Any manager from Flysharp care enough to explain as to why only credit note given? Am awaiting for my credit voucher and reply to materialise. Naz Good morning, Thanks for your reply, I can give you my booking ref number: O27G36 and hope this is sufficient. Have a nice day. Regards Naz

I emailed Flysharp 3 weeks ago about a refund and still haven't received a response. I've also tried calling and cannot get through. I feel like they are actively avoiding their duties to their customers

The following response from Fly Sharp to a negative experience below, is extremely misleading..... "Fly Sharp have been processing hundreds of refunds each day, whereas many other travel agents are only offering credits." .... You are, by law, entitled to a full refund if your flights have been cancelled. The above statement from them is illegal!! Fly Sharp is part of Southall Travel. The same company which owns Travel Trolley and is under the same ABTA membership. They use the same systems and employees. In a recent poll of 93 Travel companies, Travel Trolley came bottom with a score MINUS 95. They have been withholding peoples refunds or been charging for refunds against consumer markets authority, ABTA and Consumer Law guidelines. The above woeful response to a customers plight just shows how they take customers for granted and think they, the UK public, are stupid.

Absolutely awful service. I’ve been chasing a flight refund for the return part of my ticket from Sydney to London since mid March - obviously due to lockdown. I submitted my refund application and received the automated response email. And then nothing, I submitted further queries and got no response. Called numerous times and had someone hang up after waiting Nearly 30minutes for the call to be answered. When I have got through the only information they can give me is that your refund is being processed and please call back in 2 weeks (been told that 3 times). The final time I called I asked for proof in writing via email that the refund had been submitted to Emirates and asked what confirmation they had received from them to know my refund would be processed in 2 weeks, the guy on the phone said he ‘couldn’t answer that’, when I asked so there’s no record of the refund request going through, he said they were receiving refunds so there should be something soon but couldn’t say when they requested it, when they got confirmation or how much - just call back in 2 weeks please. Absolutely appalling. I appreciate this is difficult circumstances but the customer service is shocking, I would never use Flysharp again after this.

I have to say, under the current pressures ALL travel agencies are under, Flysharp are doing as best they can! Yes it took time to answer the phone, Yes it took time to answer emails - These are unprecedented times that no-one can ever predict a contingency plan for the best outcome. I did get through eventually and the person was calm and advised me of my option. I was disappointed that I could not get a credit card refund but I did get a voucher that I will use next year.

Terrible company. Terrible customer service. I have been chasing flysharp for my refund for almost 4 months 3rd/5th/6th Feb. FLYSHARP Case Ref FS38401/FS42416. I had a flight to Shanghai with AirFrance which was cancelled by AirFrancedue to lockdown. I know that AirFrance have refunded this particular flight as my colleague booked direct with them and was refunded weeks ago. I have chased them repeatedly for a response and a refund. They do not maintain contact or give any information. If I do not receive a refund I will be contacting ABTA. They seem to think it is acceptable to keep my money for offering no level of service. Appauling.

I have responded to the email sent via trustpilot providing the booking details as requested. This was Friday, still no communication from FlySharp. No duty manager has contacted me. Please provide their email. I was told on Thursday by Vipan that a refund request had been sent to BA and that I would get an email confirming the request. Nothing received. Please do the things you say you will do. I look forward to a prompt response I have now filled out ANOTHER form sent via trustpilot, if this one still does not work I will see if the small claims court or trading standards can help you to ‘find me on the system’. Additionally, I am not happy that you send forms asking for my address and phone number via Trustpilot. This unnecessarily makes my personal information visible to more people. The communication should be direct. Your company could email me yourselves or provide me an email address to contact. This is all very unprofessional, and also sets a precedent for people communicating with you via Trustpilot. As you have many disgruntled customers this may be an avenue of communication you wish to avoid

Would give 0 if allowed to these dirty con artists. A month ago refused to refund for a March flight after international orders were closed. They offered a credit note. Agreed a refund today. Have just had a call back saying that they can’t refund as PNR shows that we were a no show for a cancelled flight. What is the point turning up when we were told flight had been cancelled and not to travel to airport? To top it off they won’t contact airline to correct asked me to contact instead. I will be contacting both Airline and my solicitor. All they want is to keep your money as long as they can before a refund. * I also have an email trail with FlySharp requesting information about my cancelled flight as soon as I realised it was cancelled which was before the flight date!!! * Booking Ref: VKATCR @ 1420 on 15/06/20 still waiting for a call back

Got a phone call in May saying that my two flights to Melbourne from the UK is being refunded and will take 7-10 working days. I then got another phone call around that mark to tell me that my flights to Melbourne from the UK is being refunded and it will take 10-14 days. I explained did already been given a number of days on the last phone call, which the company apparently had no record of? Pity for them I have a call log and it shows the call; time and length of conversation. I demanded that I got what the guy was saying on the phone written and emailed to me, with a time period the refund is scheduled, and the exact amount. If it doesn’t reach my account before that time, I’ll have written and photographic proof this company is breaking the law, and will proceed in any way in a legal format that sees to it I get that money back.

Appalling. Load of scammers. Requested my refund after my flight was cancelled by KLM in March. Got told that to request a refund I had to write that I wished to cancel the flight which sent off red flags immediately. Stated I was requesting a refund and then was told it would take between 4-6 weeks to get the money back and to contact them if it took longer than 8. Tried emailing, tried calling and no response. Scammers. Currently consenting with a lawyer considering that this company have broken the law.

Been waiting for nearly £2500 refund since March when India closed its borders and Flysharp have been terrible blaming Virgin but their service is very lacking making it hard to even contact them. Just got my refund on the 3rd June and it’s now the 9th and there was no email letting us know.

Utterly disgraceful service, ZERO star I have been requesting a refund from them since March! After nearly 4 months of being passed between their call Centers in India and the Customer services email I am no further on at all. I have had a plethora of nonsense from them, including you can have a refund but it’s a £150 cancellation fee each!, you can have a voucher but you need to use it in the next 6 months, we don’t have your money Virgin Atlantic have your money. I contacted Virgin Atlantic and they informed me that they have passed the funds back to fly sharp, so it would seem that Flysharp are Just managing their cash flow and holding on to their customers money while they ride the storm out. Interestingly from a group of 27 people I was the only one to book with fly sharp and I am the only one not to be refunded. it appears that all the other company’s can manage to provide refunds and it’s just fly sharp that are refusing customers legal obligations to a refund.

Customer service is appalling, I have just spoken with Sohan, who rather than helping me with a simple query has lectured me on the fact I am not the only person who has been affected. All I wanted was a simple e-mail confirming my flight was cancelled for my insurance seeing as I highly doubt I will get this from FlySharp. Rather, I have ended being lectured and repeatedly spoken over with none of this being resolved. When asked, I was told there was no senior management to speak to. Their customer service approach is exceptionally rude and unhelpful, I will not be making the mistake of booking with them rather than directly with the airline.

DO NOT BOOK WITH FLY SHARP! Awful experience, rude and disrespectful staff. I had a BA flight booked through FlySharp to San Francisco. When my flight was cancelled, I had no correspondence from FlySharp so I contacted BA who told me FlySharp had processed a refund, however this was not the case. I called FlySharp and the representative who I spoke to was EXTREMELY RUDE, condescending, sarcastic and laughed at the situation. He told me in order for a refund to be processed I would need to be pay an admin fee for £75PP (£150 in total) - the reason provided was because 'we do not have any money'. He shouted at me throughout the conversation and refused to allow me to speak to someone else. The call ended by him hanging up on me! The only way I got a refund was by doing a charge back with my bank. FlySharp then contacted me to say THEY are providing me with a refund and they would really appreciate if I could get them a 5 star review for their service.....WHAT SERVICE?! AWFUL!!

Re invoice no.4415059 I have been in contact with Flysharp on many occasions by email and phone to obtain a refund for my cancelled flights with KLM to Chengdu, China departing on 24 June. I have been advised by the consultants and by emails that KLM are only offering refunds in the form of a voucher which is incorrect. On KLM website under "Mainland China" section, the airline offers a full refund. Section copied from KLM website:- "Did you book your ticket via a travel agent? Please contact them directly to rebook your flight. If you need assistance, contact the KLM Customer Contact Centre. Please note that we are doing what we can to help you as quickly as possible, but waiting times are longer than usual. 2. Apply for a refund You are entitled to a full refund of your ticket if you were supposed to be travelling to or from mainland China before or on 31 August 2020 but you did not travel" Can Flysharp now please provide me with a full cash refund that I am entitled to without delay!! Poor service. Chris

At the moment Flysharp is a shambles. I have booked a Ba flight through them reservation number FR460E for Florida in October . I’m trying to find out if I can get vouchers or reschedule flight for next year. I have been in contact with BA they said they can’t answer any questions because it was booked through flysharp. When I spk to flysharp representative she kept saying nothing she can do I have to contact BA . Ridiculous not willing to take any responsibility. BAsaid they should be contacting their trade support team but no one is willing to help!!! I’m at my wits end. Horrible company to deal with. I realise this is October but I have a villa and park tickets to consider. Hi there on British Airways website it says it is offering vouchers for people travelling up until the end of 2020 that will be valid until 2022

My Air New Zealand flight was cancelled at the end of March and fly sharp didn’t let me know at all. 4 weeks later I found our direct from the airline as I went online to pay for upgrades and since then it’s been a drama of lies and mistruths by FlySharp. Up until last week I couldn’t even get an email to confirm my flight had been cancelled meaning I couldn’t even claim on travel insurance for hotel rooms and cars that weren't cancellable. I have been told on 3 separate occasions that the refund has been processed by Air New Zealand yet Flysharp keep giving a different stalling tactic and reason each time I ask to be refunded and I get asked to contact 2 to 3 weeks later. Would never use again. Invoice number 4421849 In response to Fly Sharps reply: I have already contacted he airline using the RA numbers you have given and once again they have confirmed my flights have been refunded. Stop stalling, start taking responsibility and pay my refund.

I would like to thank Flysharp for their understanding and efficiency when I requested a refund for our flights to Canada. There was no debate/push back when I requested a cash refund and the refund was paid into my bank account in full within the timescale they had asked me to allow for. Thanks again Flysharp for such a professional service - a rare experience now a-days!
