United States | 21 February 2019Terrible experience. I signed up for both Satellite internet and TV using InMyArea.com. The agent made a mistake on the TV installation order; he forgot the DVR. We found this out at the end of the install. Called them Monday right after the installer left, they acknowledged it was their error and said they'd solve it. Heard nothing back on Tuesday so I left a message Wednesday morning asking to get it solved or I was cancelling. Heard nothing back so called them Wednesday afternoon. The rep said they were trying to save me a $150 equipment replacement fee but that DirectV was giving them some problems. Told them there was no way I'd pay $150 MORE for THEIR error and would give them one more day; after that I was going over their heads and complaining. Here's the amazing part... I got an immediate call back from another agent (Dustin) who I'd spoken with on Monday. He again acknowledged it was THEIR error and then started giving ME crap about about saving ME the $150 extra fee (for THEIR error). His last words before hanging up on me was that he was cancelling their 'escalation' (presumably meaning I was on my own). imo, save yourself the aggravation and just deal direct w/ AT&T/DirecTV. ... wish I had. :(

Jessie was EXTREMELY helpful and I actually ended up signing for internet service and cell phone service ported over from Verizon for two (2) lines. If Jessie had not been as courteous, helpful and patient, I would probably have only signed up for internet only at most. Having been a Officer for a Fortune 200 company responsible for WorldWide Customer Service, Technical Support and Repair, I truly understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. Jessie is the type of representative that allows companies to grow market share by providing outstanding Customer Service. Please hire more Jessie's. Thank you

It was not a reflection on him, but just my hesitation to sign on with a new provider and start over again.
