Formerly National Moving Services (to likely cover their bad reviews and complaints), this company is by far the absolute worst company me or my husband have ever had the misfortune of working with in every single way. I don't even know how to quantify just how awful of a company and the people that work for it are. They promised one price and then said they had to charge WAY more once they got there for the move even though we gave them correct information on how much we had to move. They showed up with wrong sized trucks and not enough people. We were promised our items the next day. We didn't actually get our items FOR WEEKS, well past their sneaky contracted date of delivery. I was stuck without furniture, clothes, literally anything with a baby and a toddler in tow for weeks and weeks. They broke every single tote we had, ruined furniture, and DROPPED AND RUINED OUR 15K toolbox. They offered a few hundred dollars to compensate over 20 grand worth of damage. Our food was contaminated by rats. The salesman Colin refused to answer my calls, knowing they are a scam of a business. Hiring this company was one of the worst decisions we have ever made. I know I'm missing so much. Our move has literally caused PTSD and my brain refuses to remember how terrible it was to work with them. Whatever you do, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A COMPANY. They will not do what they say they will do and lie over and over. I wish nothing but the worst for this scam of a company and the dirtbags that work there.

I had a terrible experience with AmeriSafe. On the day of my move, I discovered numerous additional charges, such as for long distances. Even though I had paid an extra fee for living on the fifth floor, it was insufficient, and I would have had to pay an additional $1,000 to transport my belongings to the truck. They provide an initial estimate that seems reasonable, making you believe it will stay that way until they arrive at your home and assess various factors that cause the cost to double. The salesperson mentioned that I could cancel within three days, which is reiterated in the contract multiple times, but in the fine print, you find out that even if you cancel within the timeframe, you won't get your money back—only a credit. The customer service is awful; they hang up when you report issues. The supervisor who attended to me was arrogant, never apologized for what was happening, and blamed me as if I were supposed to understand all the intricacies of moving and foresee the extra charges. It was a nightmare! I lost a $2,000 deposit, was mistreated, and incurred various losses for not being able to move my belongings out of the apartment.

If I could do a -10 review I would. From the original quote to final quote, it landed up being close to 16k. They did not wrap or pack anything or number ANYTHING. The first movers were best clean and polite, very timely. The second set of movers, were planned, but we had to delay by one day. They charged us $1600 dollars! Even though the booker of the move said it was a free storage for 30 days. We rescheduled for the following Monday. They ghosted us. Plain disappeared. The driver was in contact with my husband confirming the move in time, then stopped responding. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! Finally they showed up. A day later. To early to move in d/t HOA rules. They were made aware of move in times, multiple times. Our property appeared to have been stored outside or in a very wet environment. Steak furniture was destroyed, black mold. Multiple (around 15 items were destroyed past repair) Heirlooms, pots and pans. I found boxes crushed, sat on, footprints kick marks, The topper was they had broken open a box with lingerie in it. Something was done unpleasantly to them, I had to toss them out. They were THROWING boxes in our condo, getting angry because their command of English was negligible. We had divided our move to go to storage and condo. Boxes were mixed up and a mess was made. They disappeared for hours with the delivery to our storage garage. They did not set up furniture per contract. They ripped up the freight elevator, ripped up the wall. Gouges and scratches on the walls. 2 high end bike destroyed by trying to wedge them in the truck. They used my bike handle to put out their cigarettes so burnt plastic on a expensive bike. I could go on for days.... AVOID NV Moving or AmeriSafe movers. Disrespectful, rude, dirty, confrontational and big time scammers and liars.

I am going on the record that this was the worst moving experience/delivery I have ever seen. And I spent over $5000 to have this horrible experience. This type of damage shows a lack of professionalism and needs to be addressed. I guess I should have known working with a broker who contracts any fly by night company (not the best by any means) was a terrible route to go. The pick up was a a mess. Crap left all over. The time for delivery was horrible. Almost 2 weeks! We found out that the belongings we put on a truck, taken to storage and then put on a truck for transport. We must have not read that there would be this type of chain of custody. This is just an accident waiting to happen and it did. The amount of damage is unbelievable. It is excessive. The box the TV was packed in by the movers arrived with a big hole and needless to say it was broken. Can you drivers not read English. Fragile !!! We had not idea the bouncing around your people would do to it/ lack of care. We had to buy a replacement. The computer has moisture in it and it will not boot. Likely it will need to be replaced., HOW the Hell did it get moisture in it? The box was not even wet upon approval. The Keurig coffee make was broken in pieces. We needed to buy a replacement. The sofas had a "solution" on them that was not there. They are now unusable. They were not the best but they we usable. The family cannot sit on those. It is disgusting and smeller awful. We had to replace. My grandsons bike - one of the wheels it bent. We will have to pay to repair that. Assuming it can be repaired and doesn't need to be replaced. The wall unit and end table and coffee table had new nicks in them. Other boxes were busted up. Other boxes have damp items in them. What the heck happened? This is totally unacceptable.

I used your moving service, and I had the worst possible experience. Although I paid a Large Sum ($9870) of money, the crew did not complete the task that I had requested. Throughout the procedure, they behaved badly, showed a lack of professionalism, and showed laziness. I am quite unhappy with service I was provided.
