Denmark | 29 January 2025Most of the 5 star reviews are fake. Quite fun to follow the profiles to the same 2-3 other pages paying for these fake reviews. ex. Safebound Moving & Storage Customcuff GYM SUPPLY co.

United States | 12 January 2025Poor coordination. My car was delivered 5 days earlier, and the household stuff was delivered 12 days later than the expected delivery date. This company is a broker, not a mover, so it is supposed to coordinate the work order, pick-up date, delivery date, etc, with the local movers of their choice, but it did not do anything it should. The dispatch department is awful, rude, and not helping anything. I don't know what they are doing, actually. The truck driver even needed to call me and ask me for my address. It was unbelievable. The 5 diamond moving company, which was the local company they assigned to me, was equally awful. Rude and not proficient in English. I asked them for the receipt for the $480 extra charge I paid for the stairs, but they could not provide me with the receipt.

United States | 10 January 2025I just got scammed out of $1500 with this company. Travis, mislead me to believe that my move was going to cost $5000 and took $1900 as a deposit and I was to pay 1550 at pick up and $1550 at drop off. When the day came to pick up, the company sent a guy out but not with a truck, he was there to look at my load. After doing paperwork I was informed that the move was now going to cost $8000. They had lead me to believe that I was purchasing 650 square feet of space and after listing all of the items I was moving, Travis assured me that it was plenty of space for multiple tool boxes, a washer and dryer, an engine crane, floor jack and a full sized Harley Davidson. Once the movers arrived the 650 square feet turned to cubic feet which was barely enough to fit my motorcycle. Once I decided to cancel, I was informed 4 hours later that I was to receive less than $400 of my deposit back. Shop around, this company is misleading

United States | 05 January 2025i would rate them negative if i could!!! Do not believe a thing they say. They took 4 weeks to get me my stuff and the wanted to charge me an additional $850 when the truck was in my drive way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

United States | 28 December 2024I wouldn't even give them a one star. Horrible, deceitful. Move from Cincy to Milwaukee one bedroom apartment quoted at $2,000 turned out to be $4,200 plus and damaged furniture. Held me hostage for $2200 plus when picking up my furniture from subcontractor who was horrible. Paid the thieves and then nobody would tell me when my furniture was coming, they just showed up days later and damaged my furniture over $1000 dollars and gave me a whole $200 dollars. Amerisafe never defended me as they should with the subcontractor who went out of business. Had to make many calls to them without any results to adjust the high prices and damages. Stay clear

United States | 26 December 2024Just don't. Nothing said is the actual outcome, but if you do, use a credit card. Big talk, low price, but will shunt you off to another subcontractors or two, or more and won't return calls or emails after pickup Even Capital One is unable to get my money back from their shady practice

United States | 22 December 2024Beware: My 86-year-old mom chose amerisafe not realizing they were brokers. She decided to try them, they were very friendly and courteous initially. Once amerisave hired the movers and got there $2,062. amerisave was completely out of the picture. Four times the moving company kept adding on extra fees. We were not told by amerisafe that the moving company was not allowed to move out of state, movers charge two fees before they even left my mom's apartment, an additional fee was charged to use a shuttle, semi, movers were not allowed to drive out of state, we had to pay a tractor trailer to drive from Georgia to Virginia. Another fee, once in Virginia the movers took over and charged us an additional fee to bring the furniture off the truck onto a small U-Haul Van and mini van to my mom's apartment all in all my mother's one and a half bedroom apartment windup costing in total $11,000. Every time I mentioned the fees they told us we would not get the furniture until we pay, they held my furniture hostage and no one from amerisave would help. None of these fees were explained to us they're in the contract and it's very small print but the movers can do whatever they want and charge you whatever they want once they have possession of your furniture amerisafe is done. Please read the contracts before you hire them they will not tell you any of these charges in advance. My 86-year-old mother is out of $11,0000.

United States | 18 December 2024We, unfortunately, were taken advantage of by a fraudulent and extortionate scheme by Amerisafe Movers, a company that grossly misrepresented its services, engaged in unethical practices, and extorted additional cash payments from my wife and me during our move from Montana. Background of the Dispute: 1. Misrepresentation of Services: Amerisafe Movers presented themselves as a moving company but failed to disclose they are merely brokers subcontracting services to third parties. They promised a seamless, direct move with no truck transfers or delays, delivering our belongings by the agreed date of November 17th. These promises were entirely false. 2. Deceptive Pricing Practices: The initial quote for our move was $3,403. However, as the moving date approached, Amerisafe informed us that if we didn’t pay an additional $1,000, they might not have enough room for all our belongings. Feeling cornered, we reluctantly agreed to the additional payment to avoid jeopardizing the move. 3. Pickup Date Extortion: On the scheduled pickup date of November 13th, the movers arrived outside the agreed window and threatened to leave if we didn’t immediately comply. This added unnecessary stress and coercion. 4. Extortionate Demands Upon Delivery: After our belongings were loaded onto the truck, the subcontracted movers (Streamlined Moving) informed us that they would not deliver our items by the promised date. Instead, they said that unless we paid $5,403 in cash upon delivery, we might never see our belongings again. Despite our protests, we had no choice but to comply to recover our property. 5. Final Total: After being extorted, the total cost of the move ballooned to $8,126. Of this, $5,403 was paid in cash under duress, and the remaining $2,723 was charged to my Chase Visa card. 6. Unethical Behavior and Lack of Receipts: Upon delivery, we were forced to pay $5,403 in cash to a representative named Hugo from Streamlined Moving before they would unload our belongings. Despite our request for a receipt, Hugo refused to provide one. To document this exploitative transaction, we filmed ourselves handing over the cash. Video Evidence: Here is a link to our Google Drive where we have the video saved as proof of making the payment in cash: Video Link. Amerisafe Movers and their subcontractors preyed on our vulnerability during a stressful move, exploiting us with lies, coercion, and escalating fees. Their actions are fraudulent, unethical, and illegal.

United States | 17 December 2024This company and its employee's are complete frauds. They said they were the actual mover not a broker. WRONG, THEY LIED TO US, THEY ARE ONLY A BROKER NOT A MOVING COMPANY. The company that showed up to move us, was a completely different company. They gave us a hard and fast maximum cost for the move. WHEN THE ACTUAL MOVER ARRIVED, THE PRICE FOR THE MOVE WENT FROM $9,350.00 TO $14,000.00. They said the personal property would be taken directly from the home to our new home and it would not be off loaded into a warehouse then onto a larger truck. THEY LIED AGAIN, THE ACTUAL MOVER SAID THE ONLY WAY THEY MAKE A LONG DISTANCE MOVE IS TO TRANSFER THE ITEMS TO ANOTHER LARGER TRUCK. We gave them a $3800.00 deposit, when the other mover showed up and gave us the NEW HIGHER price, we sent them away, and cancelled the move. When we cancelled with AmeriSafe, they said they would only refund us $1,000.00. This appears to be a planned strategy to defraud americans out of money. Its a clear scam. HEADS-UP AmeriSafe is connected to a company called NATIONWIDE MOVE MANAGEMENT, LLC and NW MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC.
