This was my first trip to India. Indian Excursions Co was recommended by our friend. This was her third trip to India all organised by Indian Excursions Co. We were 5 friends (all female) travelling together. Madeleine's (Tour Designer) attention to detail is amazing, before, during and after our trip. On our arrival to Delhi Airport we were warmly greeted by Shiv who took us to our waiting bus and driver. Our tour was fully escorted, which means that where ever we went, we were met by our guide and driver. My experience with Indian Excursions Co was/is very positive. And if I travel to India again to see more of this amazing country, I would definitely use them again. Thank you Madeleine and Shiv.

This was my 3rd tour with Indian Excursions Co taking in Delhi, Dharamsala, Shimla and Darjeeling. I do not hesitate to recommend this company for anyone wishing to tour India whether it be as a single person or a group tour. They can also accomodate your budget. Your personalised itinerary is completed in consultation with Maddie and no stone left unturned. There will be a fourth tour I'm sure, just not sure when and where.

Indian Excursions Co are an extremely professional tour company. Every aspect of our tour to four different destinations in India went smoothly and without a hitch. From the conception of the tour nothing was too much trouble and there was constant communication before and during the time spent in India. Shiv and Madeleine made our Indian Adventure one of the best holidays ever. We were treated as Maharaja and Maharani throughout our trip; at the beautiful hotels and palaces, handpicked by Madeleine, by our knowledgeable and friendly guides and our trusted driver. Every small detail was very well taken care of and we have come back with a truly memorable trip of Rajasthan. Indian Excursions provided a seamless itinerary, arranging for hotels and cars and drivers and guides and flights (and even a train ride) for our 10 night tour of Rajasthan in late 2016. Everything they promised was provided; all the coordination came together without a hitch. They gave us a "what to expect" guide and beautifully organized travel documents; their advice was helpful and the trip a success. We had only one or two issues outside of their domain--a contracted tour guide who got on our nerves, or hotel staff at one location who need additional training. This year we decided that we would hire a driver for our short trip through Rajistan. We are so glad we chose to go through Indian Excursions, the company who handled our 1 month tour last year. The driver they provided us with made our trip far better than it would have been without him. Our expectations were high and they were and they were far more than justified. Our driver, Ishwar, went far above and beyond his responsibilities from being a careful driver who made us feel safe to becoming a true friend who helped us to navigate the crazy banking crisis in such a way that he selflessly spent a lot of time in lines to assure we had plenty of money. He was also well informed about the things we wanted to see and was able to answer the myriad of questions we continuously tossed at him. Thanks to Indian Excursions for supplying their usual top level of service and employees!

My wife and I travel all over the world. We stay in the finest hotels in all the world's major cities. We explore lots of interesting places each year. We can say, without a doubt, that Madeleine and Shiv organised the finest trip we have ever been on. We had the most incredible trip to India! Madeleine planned the entire trip with 1 week notice and everything was executed perfectly! We loved every single guide and representative and we especially loved our driver Manjeet! It was especially useful to have a cell phone during the trip so that we could contact Shiv at any time to make any adjustment or ask any question. Both Shiv and Madeleine went above and beyond to satisfy all of our requests. They even had a book personally delivered to our hotel in Delhi that I found in another city. From start to finish Indian Excursions was great to deal with. From the beginning, Madeleine was extremely detailed and patient with all of our requests and questions. She provided extremely accurate information, and was infinitely patient as we asked for changes, always volunteering to do more. When the trip begins, there were representative(s) at all points. Packets supplied, and even a local phone if needed. Throughout the trip, Shiv stayed in touch to ensure all went smoothly. The guides and driver were excellent, flexible, and always on time or ahead of time. The guides were very knowledgeable and provide information about the different sites that really cannot be found by googling or wandering around on your own. This makes your trip so much more worthwhile and rich. We would highly recommend Indian Excursions if you are interested in getting great treatment and getting the most out of your trip.

My family and I immensely enjoyed our Rajasthan tour this September. My wife and I had not done a tour like this in India. We both felt a bit unsure about safety during our travels and if all that was promised to us would be provided. Not only did this company provided exactly what it promised, it exceeded our expectations when it came to organization and professionalism. Prior to the tour, Madeleine impressed us with her professional communication and guided us throughout our decision-making process. During the tour, Shiv, continually checked in on our travel experience. Everything within the tour such as hotels, sight-seeing, our driver, tour-guides, and hotel representatives were remarkable. I found Indian Excursions through the web while I was planning our first trip to India as a family. I was a little nervous because we were taking our kids along ( ages 11 and 15) When I found Indian Excursions, I thought I would give them a try and contacted them. I was so impressed how quickly and efficiently I received responses from Madeleine that I kept the conversation going. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We thought the hotels were great, touring guides were well informed and drivers were very accommodating. Very well organized overall, we enjoyed the trip.

The company may be small, but their attention to detail and helpfulness was massive. All communication was super prompt and their information and recommendations relevant.They made some extremely useful suggestions about travel time, distances, flight connections, hotels etc. Without having to ask, they changed my flights so the transit time was far more convenient. They also arranged little things such as express luggage delivery, in order to make the transfers efficient. They did everything they said they would, and more. Highly recommended!
