Graysons did the conveyancing for my house purchase. The most disappointing and frustrating thing was that they simply never, never answered an email. I wanted to respect their time by not picking up the phone so sent them clear, short email messages close to the expected completion window asking them to set up a client account so that I could transfer the whole purchase price to them in instalments (my banking app limits the amount I can transfer in one day). I nevertheless ended up making frantic phone calls to my bank, transferring what I could, and then driving out to a branch the day before completion to get the money over. I'm still waiting for the final documents (to be prepared by the seller's solicitor on completion and then sent to me by Graysons) and it's now three weeks after completion (tbf, Christmas and New Year have been during that period)

I would absolutely not recommend Graysons. I found the whole process upsetting. Caroline was rude and curt to myself, the other side's solicitor and my mortgage advisor. I will now look for a new family solicitors.

I cannot rate solicitor Andrew Lee highly enough. From the start of my claim to the conclusion of it, he communicated throughout the process and advocated for my wishes, ensuring I reached a settlement I was happy with. I am a psychiatric nurse working full time and am also a single parent, so knowing I did not have to chase them constantly to get updates took a lot of stress away from the situation. When sending me to see specialists, he always made sure to ask me which locations and times were more convenient. My case was a sensitive medical negligence matter however Andrew gave me complete respect and empathy and helped me to ensure my suffering wasn’t without appropriate compensation. Andrew went above and beyond, for example when I had to have my surgery, I was worried as I didn’t have an emergency contact to put down, Andrew offered for me to put his details. This is just one small example of his kindness. I am so pleased that I went with Graysons after many solicitors offered to take on my case.
