Phone never answered. Only sometimes phone calls would be returned. Email replies from automated system, days awaiting personnel to reply. Slow and frustrating process for a straightforward conveyancing matter. Approx 4 months for a no chain house purchase, in my opinion is too long. The personnel I dealt with were pleasant and professional, on a plus note.

Instructed the conveyancing team for a matter. Have written to them twice early September and then again October . Absolutely bizarre that not one member of the team has been able to reply to the emails. Now find myself in the weird position of instructing someone else . They’ve literally just disappeared!

Incompetent, said they can’t help me with my flat because the building opposite it is a high rise, when my building is literally 4 floors, if they took a few minutes to read the guidance on the government website they’d see the definition of a building and that my building is not included because it’s literally not a high rise, and it does NOT matter that there’s a tall building in the same complex. UPDATE following their reply: based on what information exactly? The several images proving my building is only 4 floors? Do your job next time. And it wasn’t simply following a request for quotation, they were literally named as my solicitor on the memorandum before they decided to palm me off because they couldn’t be arsed with a leasehold flat.

We were able to talk about what we wanted to put in our wills, to get advice on issues to consider and to discuss these in detail. We were given time to consider our options and were always answered promptly when we asked for advice or appointments. A very professional service.

I used Graysons many times, but not anymore.I was told wrong completion date because associate had looked at the wrong sale. Then mortgage money was sent to the wrong mortgage company. Then,regarding another sale, I was charged £450, even though searches etc weren't carried out. I had asked for indemnity insurance, but this wasn't completed.
