I ordered an OBAKU watch for me by my friend Shehreen Hussain on 20.09.20. Like many other sites, when I order to Obaku, I was bit hesitate about to pay if any extra taxes or duties imposed by the custom clearance authority which never mentioned when people order. So with bit hesitation I placed an order of a beautiful watch. And when it came to my country, the carrier company called me, as I expected, to be confirmed that the watch contains a battery inside it and might be treated as a DANGEROUS GOOD and the charge might be $100+ which called DG charge, who will pay the amount? Me or the sender (Obaku)? I wondered and email to OBAKU about the issue. OBAKU replied me instantly that you do not need to do anything or need to pay anything. Obaku is going to reach the carrier and will pay any kind of taxes or other territorial duties if necessary . I forwarded the email to the local carrier office. The issue was solved. Thanks OBAKU team that they took all necessary actions and I did not pay anything and have got my watch. Its a beautiful watch. My first Obaku is a beautiful timepiece which I brought from the shop in Europe last year, inspired me to collect another one. Though i love to buy watch from shop physically but In this pandemic no other way but to order online. Now I am very happy with my second one. I really appreciate OBAKU team that they have handled the issue with extreme professionalism, commitment and customer satisfaction. Thanks Obaku.

The watches l bought are delicate and yet powerful in their designs. The colours are well balanced with the design. The Zen-enso simplicity is delightful and subtle. Very very beautiful watches.

I came back to update this review from a 2 star to a 5 star review. (See below for original review). As you can see below, Stine from OBAKU responded in less than a week of posting the review. They were very helpful & repaired the glass face of the watch at no charge. I just received the repaired watch 2 days ago. Contacting customer service didnt help but this review did. Either way, I am very grateful and this customer service experience will definetely keep me coming back to OBAKU and reccomending this brand to family & friends. Once again, Thank you Stine. I have been looking for a watch that I like for over 2 years when I FINALLY found this one. I love it. I purchased this brand even if it is a bit above my budget as I knew that OBAKU is a strong and quality watch. Within the first week of wearing it, I came home and it has a nice big scratch on the face. Nothing out of the ordinary happened on that day that I could think of that would cause this. I did not fall & the watch did not fall. I just went about my regular day. Possibly bumping into something as I walked. I am very very dissapointed and upset. After searching for 2 years & spending all that money; All it took one week to get ruined?!?!? So yes they make beautiful comfortable products which is why Im giving 2 stars & not one. I have had a different watch for 7 years and it fell 100 times & it did not get even a slight scratch... not on the band and not on the face. If this happened after a week then its not a quality product.

Love these watches, I actually bought one for my wedding day and lost it afterwards! But liked it so much I ended up buying it again. Super fast delivery as well really pleased with it.

Hi there, I had already owned an Obaku watch which I purchased on vacation in Malta several years ago. The watch had a black face and I was very happy with it. I went online to the Obaku website to see if I could by a white-faced version. I saw one, bought it and it arrived within 5 days. I am totally delighted with the new watch. Tony Kelly

I first got an Obaku watch three years ago, it was my birthday gift from my principal, so it was very precious to me. Unfortunately, I lost it last month. I tried to buy the same one in the chain store, but it's out of stock. Luckily, I could find one online here, so I bought it and i received it in three days! I was so pleased that I can get back the watch, and wear it everyday. It's very beautiful!

As much as I love their watches, it pains me to leave this review. I bought the watch from the website on August 6 2020 today is 26 and I still did not get it. They have a problem with their distributors in Saudi Arabia and because of the miscommunication it’s has been 20 days and I just got the Shipping confirmation of the item. The watch that I picked is a special anniversary gift and it did not arrive in time. It was the first gift that I got my wife when we first met. It’s was lost when we were traveling and it had a deep meaning to my wife. 5 years later I found it and wanted to surprise her at our anniversary and it’s late. The review is based on our feelings not the quality of the watch.

The watch is very beautiful and shiny, but the strap is really too big (compared to the other Obaku watch that I have) so that a snug fit on my wrist, the clip is not centered and the watch still moves either up or down. I bought my first Obaku watch 5 years ago and the quality seemed better. I can show a picture if you want...

Everything was fine with the ordering process, but 2 days later I was notified that the item I ordered was actually out of stock. I was offered a number of options (wait 2 weeks or get a refund or get a different item) so I was generally satisfied, but would have been even better to have known beforehand that there would have been a delay on the specific item I ordered.
