These days you can get a thing that's like a watch, but that also can take your picture, read your heart rate and tell the entire world exactly where you are at any one time. All sorts of superfluous activities. So you can look and feel like The Terminator. But if you want to look like Sarah Connor - the Mother of the Future - get an Obaku watch. I bought my wife the Notat Walnut model for Xmas 2019. It's the ultimate in style and guess what - it tells you what time it is. Not only does it look stunning on her wrist, it also tells people that she's not a slave to techno fashion, and that you she has a beating heart. The Notat Walnut cannot tell her what her actual heart beat is, but I reckon it will make other people's hearts flutter when they see it. It tells people that she is a human being who loves beautiful things.

Great service and follow up

Je suis très content de ma montre achetée il y a bientôt 5 ans, mais parce qu'il y a un mais, le bracelet en cuir s'est détérioré assez rapidement. J'ai tout récemment décidé de le changer, mais impossible d'en trouver y compris chez les revendeurs Obaku. Malgré un courrier leur demandant ou et comment m'en procurer un, mon message est resté sans réponse. Dommage car s'ils m'avaient répondu, j'aurai mis 5 étoiles !!!

After purchasing my first Obaku watch whilst on holiday in the US (a 2007 Lund watch), I was both impressed and hooked! I love the story behind the creation of Obaku and their watches and how they came to be. Their designs are bountiful, constructed with due care and attention to detail. There are watches for those who like chronographs and multiple dials on their watch-face, to watches that are minimalistic yet elegant in their design and still stand out, making a bold impression. I was browsing through Obaku's website and one watch in-particular caught my eye... The Rolig Ocean. 'Rolig' is the Danish word for calm and this watch certainly has a calm and collected essence about it. The design is minimalistic, yet still remains sophisticated and eye-catching. I love the blue stainless steel mesh bracelet (very easy to adjust), along with the rose-gold outer, finished off with a blue face to help complement the rose-gold hands and numerals. About a day or so after purchasing the watch from Obaku's website, I was informed by a very helpful individual from the Obaku team named Sherman, that the watch I had ordered was not available and would resume stock in a few days. Sherman offered me the choice to wait for the watch I had ordered or choose another that was in stock. Alternatively I was offered a full refund if I wanted. However I decided to wait for my original order (well worth the wait). My questions to Sherman were answered promptly and with great customer service! I was informed of when the watch was dispatched and out for shipping and able to keep a track of it throughout it's journey. I would certainly recommend Obaku watches, for anyone looking for style in a minimalistic yet appealing and unique form. Customer service was excellent and I would definitely purchase from Obaku again. Many thanks to Obaku and to Sherman too!

På ordrebekræftelsen står der nu, at uret koster 213,99 EUR (1.599,00 DKK). Det undrer jeg mig lidt over, men da det danske beløb stadig er 1.599, tænker jeg, at der ikke er ugler i mosen. Imidlertid HAR jeg handlet i EUR og får et kurstillæg af banken på 1%. Det overlever jeg, Uret lever op til forventningerne. Det er imidlertid IKKE i orden, at WEBshoppen ikke tydeligt gør opmærksom på, at der handles i EUR. Det står godt nok helt i bunden af siden under menupunkt "VILKÅR OG BETINGELSER" under overskriften "PRISER OG BETALING". Det tror jeg heller ikke Forbrugerombudsmanden synes.
