Ordered this particular watch for my wife. This is the first one purchased mail order direct from Obaku. She already has two others, but she likes them so much she wanted a third, and I have a gents Obaku too which I love. These we purchased from a local jeweller The mail ordering direct from Obaku was easy and straight forward, I was kept up to date with the progress of my order, and ultimately informed of my 1 hour delivery window. My wife is delighted with her new Obaku!

Team reached out over order verification the day I placed it and delivery was made in few days. Order was delivered late at night, would appreciate an early delivery on next order. Delivery rider was kind enough to insist on checking the product before accepting payment. Product is great! My wife loves it!

This is my second Obaku watch! The first one is still going strong after 8 years, but I wanted a change. A magnificent product!

I ordered from Denmark during a weekend. The watch was sent from Hong Kong the following Monday and I had it in my hand on Wednesday. Quite impressive how quick that was, considering it had to be shipped half around the globe. The watch I bought, an Obaku DOK - WALNUT, was for my wife. We both very much liked the slim and minimalistic design, but when we saw it in real life, we were disappointed with the color – of the dial in particular. It was more brown than what it seems in the photos on obaku.com. So, I ended up returning the DOK - WALNUT watch. If you want to return something bought at obaku.com, you'll have to cover the return shipping cost yourself. As I live in Denmark and the return address for EU-citizens happens to be in Denmark, this cost was acceptable for me, but if you don't live in one of the countries where you can return obaku.com products to, you might be looking at an inhibitive international shipping cost to return an item. Therefore, I think it is paramount that the product photos on obaku.com are as close to reality as possible. In this respect, I feel that the studio product shots can be misleading. The flat uniform lighting in the photos is so far from any normal lighting situation you would encounter in real life. I find that the model and environmental photos do the products more justice, but not all products have these types of photos. I ended up buying a DOK - GOLD watch for my wife instead, from a local watch store. This is another example of a less successful product photo on obaku.com. This watch looks much better in real life (!) than it does in the flat studio light, where there is no shine and contrast in the gold, especially in the straight-on photo of the face of the watch. Strong and scratch free sapphire glass is a requirement for me when buying a watch. Most OBAKU watches only have mineral glass, so many models were ruled out quickly. To my understanding, the only OBAKU watches that have sapphire glass are the ones in the SLIM collection. However, it can be quite hard to know what kind of glass each OBAKU model has, as this information isn't necessarily listed on the product page (an example of this is the DOK - GOLD watch). Within the SLIM-collection there are three different design approaches to how the strap/bracelet is attached to the case of the watch: 1) PAPIR and KVADRAT: to my understanding the bracelet is permanently attached and therefore you cannot change the band/bracelet – in case you’d like to supplement with another color or material – or if it breaks somehow. 2) NOTAT: the bracelet is screwed in place. This allows for a replacement, but options are not as plentiful as the more normal lugs/springbar type of attachment. 3) DOK: this is clearly my preference as this model has regular lugs [although they are hidden and don’t protrude out from the watch case (when looking straight on to the watch face) - a feature I very much appreciate] and therefore opens up to a world of alternative watch straps/bracelets. As a bonus, the spring bars are of the quick release kind – making switching watch bands extremely easy and fast – allowing you to switch bands according to occasion, mood and/or how you are dressed.

Fast shipping. The watch is really beautiful so that I want to wear it every minutes. However, the strap is too long, and it made me a little bothered.

Like the brand and was not the first purchase , I use to buy it from local market then learnt that now become online . Don’t like online buying as you don’t feel the product in your hand and don’t imagine how is going to be like. Quite nice looking watches , elegant, thin affordable

I am impressed by the design and quality of the Obaku product, but a little disappointed with the level of customer service and the lack of response to inquiry 😕 My online purchase did not apply the discount code I entered, and even though it identified Canadian dollars it was charged to my card as US dollars and converted to the higher Canadian amount 😕😕... so with the conversion and the excluded discount, I paid 30% more than expected. My email inquiry about the discount code, amount, and shipping options has yet to be replied to... As a fan of the Obaku philosophy and aesthetic, I’d hoped for better.
