An excellent service from start to finish, from the sales consultants, to the back office administrators, to the installers (scaffolders included) and all at a very competitive price. Everyone delivered when they said they would. On installation day the weather was atrocious, high winds and rain but the install was completed on schedule even as it became dark. I've already recommended the company to a relative.

I suppose I should have known better when the quote and pre installation survey was carried out from behind a desk using google maps. Once I had agreed to the spec and quote that’s where the issues began. Firstly the scaffolder’s turned up unannounced the day before the planned installation, don’t get me wrong this is great planning if we were informed that this was the plan, luckily we were in the house when they turned up. On the day of installation the engineer who was going to carry out the installation of the solar panels informed me that the 17 quoted would not fit onto my roof and some would have to be fitted to the front of my house which is north facing!!!! I was offered extra panels to compensate for this but we specifically didn’t want any on the front of the house and during the design meeting it was never even suggested that panels should be fitted on the front of the house presumably as it is north facing. During the design meeting I was assured that I could have the battery and inverter installed in my loft, when the equipment arrived it was clear that there was no way a battery that weighed just over 100Kg could be fitted in my loft space as it wouldn’t even get through the loft hatch!!!! After a conversation with the electrician it was decided that we would fit the inverter and batteries outside and to compensate for the nearly 30% reduction in panels (quoted 17 only 12 could be installed). I was offered an additional 5KW battery but to ensure that I wasn’t going to loose out on the overall efficiency of the system with the reduction in panels (I wasn’t offered a reduction in cost) I requested and additional 10KW battery, this was rejected unless I forked out an additional £700!!!!!! Even though it was there error. When I rejected this and told them that I wanted to cancel the installation they threatened to charge me over £300 for pulling out!!!! I pointed out that the contract I had signed was not going to be fulfilled and good luck with winning that ridiculous threatening claim. All in all a completely untrustworthy company if anything goes wrong.

I have had the best experience with Solar Energy, Daniel was fantastic explained everything from start to finish. Installation is due next week and I am sure it will be just as organised as the process that I have just gone through. Defo will be recommending to my friends.

We enquired about solar installation online and after being in contact a number of installers we elected to go with a quotation from UK Solar Experts. We very quickly had our survey completed and 2 weeks later in September 2024 our installation was completed by three very competent installers. We had a slight glitch early on which turned out to be due to a faulty battery which was very quickly rectified. Our experience was that UK Solar Experts are very professional and offer an excellent and friendly service and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had a very pleasant experience with this company, from start to finish guided through the process step by step. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good service.

Paul talked me through what system would be best for my requirements it was done over a zoom call which made it a little bit more personable and reassured me I wasn’t handing my money over to a bunch of cowboys as we know solar systems are an investment. And I needed the assurance that if anything were to go wrong there was someone I can call to come back. I asked numerous question to which Paul confidently and correctly answered. The system was installed within 3 days of making payment which I thought was amazing. The fitters looked well presentable and were well mannered, they cleaned up after themselves. The only reason why I haven’t gave 5 stars was because I had to wait a few days for my consultation. But all in all very happy with the service.

Agreed a call back after a month but harassing me with daily phone calls ever since. Even spoke to them and asked them to stop ringing me.

I recently had a consultation with your sales representative, Dan on 6th Jan 2025, during which he assured me that the deposit I paid would be fully refundable if I decided not to proceed. This assurance was given during our Zoom call, which was recorded. Upon reviewing the terms of the contract and discussing further with your team, I was surprised to learn about the administrative fee being deducted, as this was not mentioned during our consultation. I kindly request a review of this situation and a full refund of my deposit, as was promised during the consultation. I have been charged £398 as an admin fee. ---------------- Update I emailed on the below email address on 8th Feb + a follow up too but I haven't received any replies back yet. ----------------- Update Got an email after a while with the same story telling. When asked to review the recording or send the zoom recording no response or any reply. Looks like they know they are at fault and don't want to get through the recording.

I wouldn’t use a company that just constantly rings me and when I answer you can hear them hang up I only wanted a quote

I had additional batteries installed to my already amazing system that UK Solar Experts installed last month yesterday and Neil went above and beyond what any staff member at a company would do. I live on the Isle of Wight so logically is bit of a nightmare for materials being delivered so Neil amazingly travelled back and forward to the island on the same day to ensure my complete battery storage system was up and running on the day he said it would be. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Best in the UK!

From the initial video call to installation everything went well and to plan .A very friendly service who I feel comfortable to contact after installation should I have any questions The team of Drew ,Tom and Tom kept us informed of all the work they were doing and suggested alternative positioning of the panels when on site which was great .I don't hesitate to recommend this company .

Got a quote a few weeks back. They were just one quote of 4 but they were the most expensive. Decided not to have it done off them because They're to pushy keep phoning about the job wanting it that tells me you're desperate for work,even when I'm at work phoning me. So there's no chance they'll get it.

Tom the electrician was efficient, and cleaned up, putting everything back in order. Drew solar panels and Tom the roofer work well together, very efficient, got everything done and tidied up. Very happy with the team that came out to do the fitting and electric. Really friendly, nice people.

Had a 5kw system fitted. Im incredibly disappointed at the power output. Currently as i look im generating 0.028kw abysmal, so by turning one light on im in negative territory!!

Relentlessly cold calling me 10 times a day. Remove my number from your call list. I only looked out of curiosity and your calling me on various numbers that I am blocking continuously for 3 days now. Had I even considered getting them I absolutely would not now due to the harrassment.
