Australia | 19 October 2017Once again, Radio Rentals have been brilliant. I love this company. *** Update 31.10.17 Since posting this review I’ve had nothing but trouble with Radio Rentals. I changed my bank account details with them recently so the money wasn’t coming out of my old account. They made a mistake somewhere and continued to take money out of an account that had a zero balance. As a consequence, over the next few weeks I was charged a total of $275 in overdrawn fees with my bank and they withheld the $500 Visa gift card I was entitled to. They didn’t let me know I was in arrears for at least two or three payments and when they finally did notify me (through snail mail no less!) I rang immediately to fix it. They then took another two and a half weeks to resolve the situation, meanwhile causing me more overdrawn fees. In the end, I couldn’t pay my bills, car registration or rent. I’m now three weeks in arrears with my rent. Luckily my landlord knows this is the first time I hadn’t paid my rent on time and was very understanding. In the end they only agreed to refund $150 of the bank fees and finally sent me the $500 from the gift card I was owed. Once I’ve paid off my goods I will NEVER deal with this company again. They’ve caused me so much anxiety, stress and emotional trauma it’s not funny. I didn’t even get an apology, let alone any compensation! I’m furious and thinking about seeking legal advice.
