I just bought a Palomar Engineers PR 32A RF probe after looking for a replacement for my aging Pomona Electronics RF Probe. Service was smooth and the package arrived safely in one of those manilla bubble envelopes. No complaints with that. My complaint is with the product. Looking at the enclosed "instruction" flyer, this probe's spec sheet (or the web) is completely silent on its "conversion factor" (CF). The CF is the amount of Volts (DC) that are produced by the probe when connected to a Radio Frequency sine wave source. I contacted Palomar Engineerts via their web site and after 2 days I have no answer. My former Pomona RF Probe's conversion factor was a simple 1Vdc for every 1 volt of RMS radio frequency (RF) volts. Playing conservatively with this new probe its looking like two VDC per one volt RMS RF voltage. I'm puzzled why there is no "full disclosure" for us folk who want to simply use the probe as an approximate calibration source to our older analog wattmeters. I'm planning on returning the probe next week simply due to lack of full disclosure. So sad since this probe is built much better than the Pomona probe😞

Order of Ph storage solution had broken seal and leaked in package. Informed seller. They got back and said they would see what the manager said. That was the end of their communication. Since my first review about 1 hour ago, I was informed via phone message that my account was credited for the item in question. I guess they just forgot to inform me. I will use them again and recommend you do the same. BTW, the order was extremely well packaged despite the leak.
