Total scam/ bait and switch, false advertising. beware!

Last week I booked a flight for me and my husband, leaving on October 5, 2023 and returning on October 24, 2023 leaving on JFK to LISBON PORTUGAL with a return trip. I received a Ref. Number 3 minutes later, and I was to received either a call or email to confirm the trip. I called a couple of days later but it was still pending, I called again today and I was told that the airline refused it. If I had not kept calling Flights Channel would have not notified me. First time booking with this company and the last for me.
