Have always been a bit dubious about using a broker for this kind of thing as concerned they would ultimately be looking for the best deal for them (their commission) rather than the best deal for me as the customer. However, in the current climate and plethora of offers / rates on the market we needed someone to cut to the chase and give us most viable options. Nick, with his obvious experience and market know-how, did this quickly and effectively, which led to us saving money on our proposed renewal from EON/ Next. It saved us a lot of time and hassle trawling through the internet and using comparison websites etc and we're happy with where we've ended up. BUR are transparent about their commission, which is taken from the supplier not the customer (and this is displayed also on the contract). Nick also managed to get our new revised contract started earlier which saved an additional month of paying through the nose on EON's flexible rate tariff. Overall, I would highly recommend using Business Utility Renewals, and Nick especially, to update your existing utilities especially when coming to end of contract.

I signed up for our Gas with Max Chauhan, who was helpful and not trying to push a sale. I then had an issue with a previous broker, they were trying to charge us a £4k Fee. I mentioned this to Max, which then he offered help from his legal team, which were amazing, i sent them all my information, and the same day i had a response, which i forwarded my email to the company and they got me out of a horrible situation, where a company were very pushy and were even lying. Very happy Customer :)

I’ve been with this company for a few years now - always been there for any questions etc .. let’s hope the change over goes as smooth as the last one - Nick Marshall has been very helpful in this process. But the day after (20-6-23) I have now been told that the company that I was getting signed up to have pulled the offer so not sure what is happening now...

I have had lots of brokers contact me in the last months, vying to win the commission of arranging our next contracts for us. What first drew me to BUR was their lack of pushiness. I responded to a call from Tom, and then dealt with Nick after that and both of them were very relaxed and not wanting to push me into making any quick decisions. Over a number of weeks Nick provided lots of prices for me over e-mail, interspersed with chats about the current state of the volatile market and advice from his experience in recent years. There was even a bit of banter (although he's not into football so sadly I couldn't wind him up about the demise of Leicester FC). After all that there was a last-minute change of policy and we ended up going directly with a smaller supplier for our next contract. I felt bad about wasting Nick's time but there were no hard feelings. I wouldn't hesitate to contact BUR again in the future.
