Were very fair and convenient when needed for emergency. Only negative is we shouldn't be charged extra fee for every credit card payment when it's the only option.

Just paid off my loan TODAY!! Scratchpay was a life saver in terms of financially helping me cover the expenses with our senior dogs emergency medical bill. The applying process was very easy and getting approved and was able to successfully pay my monthly due balance 100% on time. The monthly amount due was very manageable for us. So helpful when faced with unexpected vet bills. I have a zillion pets (well, 15) and cancer is expensive, so is heart failure. I love that I have a 0% interest option. So much easier to pay things off in a few months rather than on the spot—right after you just received really bad news about your pet. I think this is the only financing institution that I would actually give five stars.

I was on autopay for the entire year. After my last payment, you left a $3 balance. I didn’t beget to it right away and then all of the sudden I’m assessed a late fee. And now have a $23 bill. This is a very sketchy practice.

I like the concept of scratch pay but i dont like the execution. They make it quick and easy to get a loan and their customer service responds fast. However, I don’t recommend it and would rather recommend CareCredit. Almost every concern or question i have had, there is nothing that can be done about it. It seems this company and its digital platforms were just thrown open without consideration of the user’s/applicants. Customer service and the online platform are extremely and unhelpfully limited. Changes to my profile such as removing, editing or hiding information cannot be done online. There are no log in options and users are forced to not only use their phone number to log into their account but send google their information/phone number (read the fine print at log in). There are NO options to NOT share that phone number with google. Of course like all companies say “we value your privacy” but it is evidently not true with this one. In addition to not being able to control my own profile, this loan CANNOT BE USED AT DIFFERENT FACILITIES. Which means if you go to your primary vet and they start treating your pet and then they recommend you to switch to an emergency care clinic- you cannot use the same scratchpay loan. You will have to take out another loan. Aside from all the limitations, they don’t even give a proper statement! There’s no option online to see each charge. So if you go to the facility 3 different days and get 3 different charges you will NOT SEE 3 different amounts charged and by whom- you will only see 1 lump some. Make sure to get receipts from vet otherwise you’re SOL.

Not a huge fan of this. Doesn’t allow to set payment plan or reminders to pay off proper to interest date. Horrible interest rate even with a 800 credit score. Beware

In a time of need, I had no money and I had to take my dog to the pet hospital - Scratch Pay came through. I was approved for the loan within minutes and my dog was able to get the care she needed.

We had to take my dog to the ER in Nov and applying for Scratchpay was quick and easy which allowed us to continue treatment quickly. I was given the option to pay it off in 6 months for 0% interest as well and this worked well for me. Their customer service was great as I accidentally made an overpayment for my first payment and their call center helped me reverse it.
