Absolutely not helpful. Out of 3 people trying to apply to save my cat all got denied, 1 person with really good credit. Seems like it's hard ro get approved when an animals life is on the line. The person on the phone John was a complete ASS

Extremely helpful when dealing with high costs of veterinary care. This option was a life saver when unexpected bills arise. I have another big surgery upcoming, and I know I may need Scratchpay again.

Stay away from this company. They love to steal your money. I was put on this plan by a nurse at an animal hospital to pay off the and for the past 10 months I’ve been making payments on time but the interest is too much, it seemed like my payments were not making any difference towards my principal balance. I decided to pay it all off to avoid paying more due to interest and my balance was completely cleared. Now I’m getting charged another balance that supposedly from my principal when I already paid everything.

I’m grateful this was an option when my dog encountered the business end of a buck. However, they really do sell it to you as interest free. And that’s only true if you pay it off in the first six months. The interest amount to nearly 2 full additional payments and that just doesn’t seem right. This seems to be a company that prays on people in a heightened emotional state. Not cool.
