Vey long lead time of around weeks offered initially but historically deliveries have arrived well before the date given. Two weeks on and we realised we were running out so I called and the only option I was given was to pay an extra £25 to bring the delivery forward by three days. Had no choice so paid the extra. The person at Goff showed absolutely no interest or empathy in the fact that we had now run out of oil. Terrible customer interaction skills. Raised a formal complaint on Goff’s contact form but no response whatsoever. That was weeks ago. Obviously no one at Goff is interested… Have used Goff for around 30 years but next time will definitely be shopping around as this is definitely not the service I expect as a very long standing, loyal Customer. Paid for express delivery, text to be delivered within express time to say tanker broke down, will deliver 2 days later after express time, then got another text on day of re-arranged delivery, delivery will be delayed and done 2 days later again, rang and was told couldn’t deliver due to driver sickness, next text in new delivery day, access blocked, rang and spoke to 2 very unhelpful and rude people, spoke to a manager who said after talking to driver couldn’t get in the road (our lane is extremely quiet and everyone parks in drives so lane would have been clear, customer service manager could not arrange delivery for that afternoon or the next day, so had to wait a further 3 days (due to weekend) and now finally got oil. Express delivery charge still not refunded. Terrible customer service.

Delivery driver was polite and helpful. its easy to get a quote and order on the the website. And the office staff are knowable if you phone with a query. Decent local, independent heating oil supplier.
