Kenya | 30 November 2021Terrible customer service. I ordered a pair of long boots which I had shipped internationally at great expense. Upon receipt I was extremely disappointed to realise that I had been sent completely the wrong size from what I had ordered! I contacted customer service and sent photos that they requested ro verify rhe incorrect item. Despite numerous promises that the issue would be rectified, my current requests for follow-up are being ignored! Now I am stuck with an expensive pair of boots that are of no use to me. What a waste of money! I would not recommend buying from them!

I placed an order for 2 x lucky dip breeches as a birthday gift on the Thursday evening - panicked on Friday that I wouldn’t receive them in time so sent an email and I very quickly received both an email and a follow up telephone call confirming they would send the order the same day on 24 hour yodel. I received the breeches the next day on the Saturday (today) and they a really lovely lucky dip colour choice, correct size. Have used Hope Valley a few times and will continue to do so. Am very happy with the purchase but mostly happy with the customer service I received. Thank you

United Kingdom | 16 November 2021Have used Hope Valley on 3 occasions and each time they have failed to fulfil the order which was in stock at the time of order and payment taken. Most recently I ordered on the 28th October, paying £4.99 delivery. I chased the order on the 11th November and on the 15th received a refund for an out of stock item. Other items in the order where to match, so now useless. Still not received anything so have requested that the order is cancelled and refunded. Absolutely appalling service and very happy to keep funds in their account for 3 weeks without fulfilling the order.

Not going the right way at the mo as the company won’t send out a replacement without hitting me with a price increase. Seems very unfair. The lady in returns has been communicative at all times but it’s gone to a higher level and I am beyond frustrated !

Customer service is rubbish, I called on various occasions and was promised a call back the following day but it never materialised. Part of my order arrived and then one of the items that was in the invoice wasn’t there.. another chance to chat with the unhelpful customer support. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere. I definitely don’t be buying from hope valley ever again

I'd consider myself a valued customer at hope valley after spending well over 4 figures there just this year- I went today and managed to source the last wheelbarrow that was outside. it was £90. upon wheeling it back to my car I noted underneath was severely rusted, scuffed etc, the inside of the wheelbarrow was also dirty. I took it back to the shop and the advisor agreed to refund me after I showed her photos I'd just taken - the store was very busy due to pony club so I put the barrow back outside. the refund was agreed but it was somewhat begrudged in my opinion. I would suggest to maybe offer to discount ex-display products that are damaged. £90 is perfectly fine for an item that is brand new, not something that has , I quote, 'been left out in the rain and has had people looking at it, hence the damage'... when asking if there were any other wheelbarrows or if the cashier knew where I could get any others, there was a massive lack of customer service in the uninterested response and sarcastic advice of buying a children's one instead! the majority of the staff in this shop I have found, cannot do enough for you and are more than happy to help- perhaps I just got someone who was fed up and couldn't be bothered to go above / beyond ... to add insult to injury I googled the wheelbarrow after leaving the shop- it is £60-70 online, not £90! so not only is it over RRP but it is in a damaged condition. ordered a cheaper wheelbarrow from Chelford with no fuss...and I can be ensured its actually brand new.

Occasional issues where stock is showing online, but then is sold out - it’s not a big issue the guys call or email to offer alternatives/ refunds. Goods packed well - love that all liquids come with lids taped 🙂. Packaging could be more environmentally friendly! Delivery times can vary - sometimes it comes the next day, sometimes 4 or 5 days later. Don’t think Covid has helped, but one to bear in mind if you need it next day. Overall happy with the service and will continue to use - huge range of products and always a bargain to be found in the sales!

I received an order confirmation email for an “in stock” item only to be told a week later that they couldn’t fulfil the order as out of stock. This isn’t the 1st time this has happened and I feel very let down. This order was a birthday present. Will take my money elsewhere from now on, truly disgraceful.

I cannot fault them and will definitely carry on using them to spend my Husband’s hard earned cash 😂

The order was for our daughters 9th birthday We Spoke to an online customer service agent who said they would help to expedite the delivery, yet the order is still processing and its our daughters birthday tomorrow. I would use again if the terms were obvious. Next day delivery is a lie.

Was very impressed with the extensive range available and had something to suit any budget. Delivery was super quick with yodel courier and I could also track my package which was great. Their customer service is outstanding, they replied to my email within 5 minutes and they were so polite and helpful. Will definitely be buying from them again!
