After having an extremely bad experience with another company, I can see what a reputable car dealer should look like. From start to finish, A690 have looked after me and sold a vehicle which is exactly what I wanted. I was helped by Harvey today who is ultra professional and has without a doubt a successful career ahead of him. I had an opportunity to speak with the owner when I collected my car and had quite a frank conversation which demonstrated how customer focused A690 are. If you cannot find the car you are looking for then contact the office and they will help locating the make / model / spec without the hard sale. I genuinely can’t recommend the business enough. I’ve waited to post this review and tried to think of any negatives / room for improvement and I can’t think of anything the lads can do better. If they keep on going this way, I expect space will be a problem and they will need an even bigger site. Thank you all for the help and the family car. Greg

I recently purchased my Audi from Gareth @ A691 Specialist Cars. Initial meeting was great, not pushy and very friendly. Only issue was no coffee machine 🤣. Big hint. After a few days the EM light came on. I contacted Gareth who said he would arrange for someone to come to my home address to collect the vehicle and I was given a courtesy car. I was sent regular updates on my Audi. It was returned two days later. Perfect. After care service 100%. Wholeheartedly would recommend this company to anyone. Great salespersons and workshop crew. I recently visited various car garages in the North East and didn't see any cars which caught my eye. I visited A690 Specialist Cars and i was literally spoilt for choice! Within minutes i was torn between which car i wanted, after a couple of revisits and sleepless nights i finally decided on the right car. The staff have been outstanding, in particular Harvey. A few days after collecting the car a coolant light came on, i text Harvey (Not knowing he was actually on annual leave) who then contacted Neil and asked him to call me. Neil contacted me and immediately made arrangements for them to correct the coolant issue, they even gave me a like for like courtesy car. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone, nothing is a problem for them the staff are fantastic. Big thanks to Harvey and Neil for going above and beyond.

I recently bought a range rover sport from a690 cars. The staff are friendly and professional. I was given a lovely courtesy car while one or two issues were ironed out on my range rover sport. Communication was 1st class throughout Phil and the team are very easy to work with

We recently had work undertaken on our Range Rover and the service was faultless. We were kept informed of a couple of minor issues through the day and the Team at A690 still completed on time and with a reasonable charge. The Car was cleaned as always and the service from reception through the guys performing the work was first class. Its great to have a Company so reliable close to us.

Well what can I say? After a few "hiccups" and Phil helping me out, things were resolved hassle free! Harvey was my salesperson, really nice guy, a couple of minor fibs were told, but they were soon cleared up - not knocking Harvey or anyone else, I'd rather be totally honest (and have the same treatment in return), but I'm confident things like this won't happen again. Definitely the very best experience I have had to date, with how things were resolved and hope this is the start of a long relationship with a fantastic dealership. Also to add, the 2015 silver Ford Kuga (loaned to me) and 2018 black BMW X3 (the car I traded in) are both equally superb cars which I cannot fault.

Bought a golf gti from the dealership. Dealt with Jake, who was great from the start and made sure everything was perfect for collection. Each member of the team, including the owner, I spoke to were very polite and welcoming, making the buying experience exceptional.

Jake has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process, both before and after sale. I don’t like being sold to but found Jake an absolute pleasure to deal with.
