It was time to change our old car but this time, being approaching retirement, my wife and I decided to go up market on possibly our last purchase. Having reviewed many different manufacturers and models we decided upon a Range Rover and over the following month, carried out due diligence in our research to avoid any pitfalls. We looked at several local showrooms and checked out the usual online sources to include national showrooms. The A690 online showroom looked impressive and the quality vehicles were abundant. This alone was not enough, so having spotted the model we liked, we took the 90 mile trip to meet the staff and inspect the vehicles. We were not disappointed on both counts, the staff were really helpful answering all questions and put us at ease straight away. Moving to the vehicles, we test drove our chosen model but, as we were there, also test drove another same model which we had not considered by photographs. This is the one we actually chose! So, it's important to visit and see in person, all their vehicles are mint but this is the one we chose overall. The hand over the following week was trouble free and now we are enjoying our new purchase, in mint condition and competitively priced from A690. As a businessman myself, I can recommend this company without reservation, they sell superb vehicles with honesty and integrity.

I've had my car for 2 years now and I must say the service I have received has been fantastic from the first moment I entered the door. The car I purchased has had zero problems so the only time I've had to go back to the dealership is to get my service and annual mot (which I get free as part of my package). Every time I go back the staff are really friendly and always happy to help. After every service the car comes back fully valeted and looking brand new. All the staff are extremely friendly & helpul & after explaining that i needed the vehicle quickly they managed to service, MOT & prep' the vehicle in less than 3 days. The manager Paul also intervened after my local Land Rover main dealership attempted to charge me for some warranty work when the vehicle came down with a slight fault. Couple of weeks prior to contacting Phil at A690 i was in process of purchasing car from a garage in Edinburgh which turned out to be a potato. Lucky escape for me and made me very wary of approaching another garage. But from 1st phone call, I couldn't fault A690 for their service. Phil is genuine guy and I had no worries after speaking to him for 20 mins on phone that he was true too his word. I paid a deposit over phone and arranged to travel down from east coast of Scotland following week to collect car. I was not disappointed. Even with pictures and description online and Phil talking about condition of car it wasn't justice to seeing it. Prep was spot on and the drive home was a total pleasure. One of best car's I've ever purchased. A690's service, communication and prep of car were all A1.

After looking for a 911 for a couple of months I went to look at a Grey 997 911 C4S at A690 specialist cars, like most people looking for this type of car my expectations were very high, after looking round the car for 20 minutes I could not find one fault, I even rang my brother for a second opinion and in his words "I have never seen a used car presented so well". So the car was perfect and collected 3 days later, after taking the car home and polishing it for several hours inside and out I was still amazed not one mark on the wheels or bodywork, even the engine is a show piece. After having the car 8 months it needed an MOT so booked it into Porsche Centre, the car failed on a minor suspension leak and I thought the £2000 repair was expensive, I called in to see Phil and was greeted with a handshake and a coffee, after 10 minutes he gave me a quote for a fraction of the price but better still reminded me the car has a full warranty, he advised how to deal with this best. I mention the repair as I feel after care is very important and even after 8 months the customer service was superb.
