I could not be more satisfied with my recent purchasing experience at A690 Specialist cars. Everything was clearly explained by Allan Power who made the experience of purchasing a car enjoyable, fuss free, with no salesman jargon that actually annoys the paying customer. Allan was an all round professional true gentleman, with the customers focus always at the forefront. From showing my interest, to viewing, test driving and completing the deal, this was all done within a week. Outstanding service, to be able to drive my new car away, with my private plates on in such a short period of time. Not even Jaguar with my two previous cars could achieve this. I can’t express how thankful I am to these guys, I was out at work meetings and then on going back to my Range Rover svr i found that my gearlever wouldn’t work so no way of moving anywhere, being on my own I was stuck, I rang the garage, and they knew exactly what was wrong, Liam came straight out to me and got the car where it was drivable and he recovered it back to the garage for me, all the time making sure I had some way of getting home. Phone call next day to say issue was fixed and my car was ready to pick up. This is why I would definitely recommend them. Top service as always!

Excellent Job by the body shop, Can't Tell where someone sideswiped my rear wheel arch in a Car park and drove off, I certainly recommend them.

I have just had such a good experience with A690 Specialist Cars. My Land Rover Discovery developed a major fault whilst driving up the M1 towards Durham. Unlike the other nearby Land Rover garages, A690 let me bring in my car straight away and moved heaven and earth to fix the fault quickly so I could drive back south as soon as possible. I had no previous record with them as a customer but they moved their normal work around to help me. They also came up with a much cheaper fix than just replacing the faulty DPF filter which saved me several thousand pounds. I am very grateful to them.

I've been using A690 Specialist Cars Ltd for the past 8 years for servicing and maintenance. There's nowhere else I would go as their level of service and highly competitive prices are unbeatable. I've recently had a new timing belt and tyres fitted to my car at the new servicing facility at DH1 1TN which is very impressive, to say the least! I was recommended to A 690 cars by a friend. I have always been wary of buying pre-loved cars ! Harvey Hall looked after our purchase of a Range Rover Sport. We were unsure if it would fit in our garage because of the height. He drove the car to our house and put it in the garage. He let my wife have an extended drive of it and she loved it. Harvey organised the finance and transfer of her cherished number plate as well as ensuring the car was in show room condition when we picked it up. There was a silver bow on the bonnet and a bunch of red roses under the wiper. My wife was crying with pleasure as she drove it out. Harvey could not have been more patient and understanding listening to my complaints about the DVLA not transferring the number plate .He was supported by Phil Oldroyd the owner of A 690 who was also very personable and went out of his way to ensure the car was in perfect condition and explain the 12 month warranty we purchased . It could not have been a better experience in buying the Range Rover Sport and A 690 set the highest bench mark of service that very few dealerships in my experience can match. Was a pleasure dealing with a690! The service was very good , efficient, thanks to Aaron who was our POC, and the rest of the team. We had to stick around the car salon for over 3 hours to sort out our insurance, we were made very welcome and been offered tea and coffee! Car is in great state with all the paperwork, warranty and recent MOT We recommend!

I have had various jobs carried out on my car I in particular which was quite difficult after buying my car from another garage and every time I have been the service and care has been excellent, I would not hesitate using this garage again for any repair work to my car.
