Found car online and purchased remotely without viewing or test driving car after receiving a fantastic viewing video of car from Harvey. Harvey made the buying experience easy and without pressure. Travelled down from Scotland by train to collect car and was collected from station by Harvey in my car. Whole transaction back at garage was friendly, quick and easy. From the initial telephone enquiry to collection of the Range Rover Sport, everything was so professional. Ritchie from A690 was first class, friendly, informative and very helpful, nothing was to much. The dialog pre purchase was spot on, questions asked and swift reply received. On the day of collection Ritchie made me feel so welcome and the sometimes tiresome paperwork was completed without any fuss. Now for the payment, it was a cash transaction and my bank did me no favours. After the payment was declined (reason unknown), a call to customer services, one hour later the call centre cut me off, by this time I’m panicking. Ritchie was calm and suggested a trip to the local HSBC branch, he drove me there and waited whilst the errors were rectified. True customer service from him and A690, unlike my bank. All in all an enjoyable day in the North East. Would I do business again with them, I sure would and when looking for my next vehicle, in a few years I hasten to add, A690 will be the first site I look at. Thanks Ritchie and the team.

Brilliant I travelled down from London to pick up a Mercedes C Class which was a 4.5hr trip. Richie who was superb offered to pick me up from the station which was a nice touch after such a long trip. As soon as we got back to the showroom he made me a nice cappuccino and then throughly explained the process. We went for a test drive for a length of time that most dealerships would not allow you to have as Richie wanted me to be really happy with my purchase. A690 really put effort into their cars in getting the vehicle prepared. Whilst driving the car back to London the engine light came on. When I called Richie and advised him about this he assured me there was nothing wrong with the car as he was confident in the prep work his team had done. He advised that when I got to London have it diagnosed at a trusted garage which he would pay for. Thats exactly what I did and he covered the cost. The diagnosis was nothing and most likely triggered due to the prep/ servicing prior to sale. If your buying a car I would definitely consider A690 specialist

Three very kind men from a690 specialist cars saw what had happened and pushed my van to a safe area of the shell garage so that i would not be in danger from other vehicles. Fantastic Range Rover Evoque! We bought our daughters Evoque from A690 and also had side steps, tinted windows added before collection. Very friendly team and felt we paid a fair price and the extras added was priced great too. Would definitely recommend and would certainly buy from them again.

Fantastic service! My discovery 4 had a little issue on starting. Phoned on Tuesday and they managed to squeeze me in the next morning to run some diagnostics. Paul phoned back with the report, I ok'd the work so the vehicle was repaired and ready for collection the next day. Great people, professional, efficient and value for money. I'll be back in January when it requires a service.

Recently bought annAudi A3 from this garage and was looked after by a young lad called Harvey, who did everything possible to make the whole process quick and easy. The car was in brilliant condition and was showroom standard, they provided 3 months warranty a full year MOT and helped with all the paper work including taxing it even though the road tax was free on this car! 1963 mini cooper restoration I had a full respray completed on my 63 mini cooper by the lads at a690 specialist cars body shop,  after a recommendation from a close friend. From start to finish of project was a pleasure to deal with, from quote to collection. I was kept very well informed of progress and they were very helpful and flexible around delivery and collections times regarding transportation and all the lads were very friendly and enthusiastic about working on a classic. After receiving the phone call to say the mini was complete, I cannot recommend these guys enough on quality of work and competitiveness of pricing. I think the pictures on the body shop page speak for themselves I couldn't have asked for a better outcome workmanship and attention to detail was second to none. I recently purchased my Land Rover discovery from this garage, and I must say I was really impressed and start finish with the customer service I received. I live in Middlesbrough and I had been looking all over for this car in this colour and when I found it at this garage I obviously done my research first to make sure the garage was a decent as I didn’t know the area, And obviously read all the reviews on trust pilot which were fantastic so I decided to go along to have a look and then bought the car, I dealt with Richie from start to finish and he was absolutely amazing nothing was too much for him, he was very polite and helpful and done everything I asked of him, he went above and beyond, so want to say a massive THANK YOU 😊 I definitely will be back and will definitely Highly recommend you and the garage to everybody 1000000000000000000000%. Also I just like to add this review that since I bought my car and gone to put this review on I am disappointed to see somebody has left a bad review against the garage over petty numberplates which I find absolutely pathetic, I have private plates on my car which I ALWAYS remove myself when selling a car, and give the original Ones to the garage for when they sell the vehicle on, So please don’t take any notice to negative small mindless people who try and knock a decent garage Reputation down over something so stupid the review is meant to be about your purchase not some £20 number plates .
