I have driven past this garage a number of times and decided to give them a try . I was looking to sell my vehicle as I have moved onto a company car scheme at work . My car still had finance on it and I had the issue of removing the private plates . However Neil has been amazing . He offered a very fair price , arranged for the plates to be exchanged and the hand over process took no longer than 20 minutes . The customer service and speed of service have been exceptional and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or trade their vehicle .

I recently bought a car from A690 Garage. I was lucky enough to deal with Ritchie and the Customer Service can only be described as outstanding. He would literally do anything to help you and make things as easy as possible for you. When I picked the car up it was in immaculate condition and again the customer service I could not fault. Only a couple of weeks ago I ran into a problem with the car and contacted Ritchie. He immediately got me booked in and the problem was sorted within days. I was blown away with the service from Ritchie and all of the others I dealt with. It was over an above what I would expect and what I have previously experienced at any other garage. Everytime I have been to the garage all staff have been so friendly and welcoming and they make a great coffee!! With service like that it's not a surprise that customers return time and time again! I will definitely be returning!

We’ve bought two cars a few months apart and had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Harvey both times. He was always always helpful and attentive, even out of hours, which made the whole buying process extremely easy. Both cars were perfect. I would give this company 6 stars if I could. I purchased a beautiful BMW 430D M Sport Convertible in Estoril blue from them which I have been thoroughly enjoying in the sun for the past 2 weeks! First off I'll fully admit to being quite an awkward buyer but Allan accommodated every single one of my requests. Before buying the vehicle I wanted an Independent Pre Purchase inspection carried out at a local BMW franchise dealership. Allan was fine with this and even took the car over there for this to be carried out. The technician at BMW told me the car was in “excellent condition” and just recommended the front discs and pads be replaced... Allan and A690 did this at no cost to me. I also spent an entire weekend p**sing about with various different finance companies trying to find the best deal, Allan was extremely patient with me throughout this. I drove up from Norfolk to Durham (5hr drive) to pick the car up and was greeted with refreshments, a tour of how everything worked in the car, an envelope of documentation including full service history and £30 petrol to get me on my way. V5c turned up last week as well with everything correct. There are a lot of bad car dealers out there but I would highly recommend A690 Specialist Cars for piece of mind that you're going to be treated well. And if I'm ever in the market for a Range Rover in the future I'd definitely be willing to make another 10 hour round trip to buy one from them!

I bought a car from A690specialist cars. Firstly the quality of the photographs on their website gave me the confidence to travel 265 miles to view the car and make the purchase. The communications between myself and Richie were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. He collected me from the train station! There was no pressurised sales, relaxed and friendly offer open and honest advice. All staff were friendly! The quality of the car is exactly as it looked in the photo's. Really good company to deal with, Allan was friendly and kept me informed every step throught the purchase of my Jaguar XE. Its only when things go wrong you find out if a company is genuine and when i had a small problem with the car (air con needed regassing) and as i live 200 miles away, they let me take it to a local garage to be fixed and reimbursed me straight away. Definitely recommend this company.
