First review I've ever written but a very honest one. Richie and Phil will tell you just how fussy I am but I have been 100% happy with the service provided and the car I eventually bought - top class.

The best experience we had buying a car !!! Usually we buy new cars and go to specific garages with the usual car salesmen service but after seeing a particular car we always wanted coming up on A690 we thought we would go and check it out. From arriving to bringing the car home Richie could not have been better! We have a 3 year old son who to say the least is hard work when going anywhere but Richie involved him in the whole process keeping him entertained giving us chance to look and take everything in we needed too. He didn’t try and sell this car at all it was like talking to a friend about it giving us advice and knowledge on everything we needed to know/do with buying an older car. He didn’t let us leave without anything we hadn’t asked for including tow bars, boot covers etc . Couldn’t have had a better service we will be returning in the future !

This was my 1st dealing with A690 specialist cars and from start to finish cannot fault them in particular Allan was very welcoming and helpful even picked me and my partner up from Durham train station to bring us to site to finalise the sale, the car is also fantastic cannot fault it very happy and recommend highly we defiantly keep in mind to visit again in the future. A691 had the car in that I really wanted, made an appointment to go and see Gareth on 28th Nov but couldn't test drive it due to covid. Gareths customer service was above and beyond expectation and I bought the car which I collected on my birthday 5th December. Bought my first car from here this week. Never used this garage before but I will certainly be returning. Through the whole process I was helped by Richie. He was great, friendly and very professional at the same time, knew what he was talking about and did not try and push anything on to me like other salesman typically do. From the get go I could see that this garage wasnt your typical dealership, just honest and professional. From taking my new car which was in prestine condition, runs like new and had also been through their very own workshop, I enquired about what they do in the work shop. I simply asked about servicing and prices and now they have gained a new customer for life for my car services, repairs and future car purchases. Absolute fantastic service from both Phil and Gareth. No pressure sales pitch like most places, very helpful with advice and guidance. Took all the hassle out of buying a new car. We bought our Landrover Discovery from here in September. They truly are exceptional in their customer service, above and beyond at every turn.....Really not sure there is anyone who remotely compares....this makes a huge difference to the whole car buying experience.
