The service was superb with updates on the regular progress of my parcel. A beautifully wrapped item with tissue paper and a lovely card enclosed as an extra touch. You were not to know but ~I had ordered this for my fiance's grandson to see if it would be suitable for his wedding outfit and for others in the party. I recently ordered a pair of made-to-measure trews from Donaldson's and I must say the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic. Despite being rather difficult and asking if they might be delivered earlier than the stated time period so that I might have them in time for an event, as well as asking for a couple of alterations to the style (for example, the inclusion of side-adjusters to the waistband), David Heriot was incredibly accommodating. The trews arrived well in time, and the quality of both the fabric and the tailoring were brilliant - the colours were exactly as shown on the preview 'swatches', and the fit perfect. The handwritten note with the parcel was a great touch, and indicative of a level of customer service that I thought had all but died out. I would absolutely recommend Donaldson's every time, and have done to the many that have already asked admiringly who made my trews!

My initial order took longer than was expected due to the Christmas holidays but David Heriot kept me up to date. The silk ties and cuff links are gorgeous.
