Horrible connection I was promised high-speed internet and it runs slower than Xfinity! Always consistently lagging while I'm gaming which I've never had a problem with Xfinity doing this!

When Fibre Broadband was installed by City Fibre in my street I signed up immediately. All was good with Gigabit Networks - yes had a couple of technical calls to resolve poor speed at first but generally I was pleased with the service until June this year: when Gigabit Networks just ported me and many other customers over to Home Telecom (HT) , even though I sign up for 24 month contract on 15th Sept 2023. By August HT did bodged maintenance which basically knackered the service for all ex-Gigabit Networks customers (please do check the one star reviews for HT on Trustpilot and see what other ex-Gigabit Network customers say, poss even not fixed 4 months on), in August I paid for a 4G SIM router + SIM card to work from home whilst I waited for my new ISP (Vodafone - who have been 5* since 4th Sept). HT are now continuing to invoice me , thank god I cancelled my direct debit. Customer Service at HT have never responded to a single email - so I will refuse to pay as I left due to their service not being acceptable. This mess is all down to Gigabit Networks who had signed people up to a service to, then either had a change of heart over or needed cash without seemingly any care for its customer base on who they were bundled off to. As a previous self-employed person I though I would give a smaller company a go, but this time it has back-fired. Shame on you Gigabit Networks !

A year with this company, and sicne month 2 ive done maybe 400 calls due to outages and terrible speeds. Transferred me to Home Telecom who then had a major outage not long after for the entire weekend. Support is awful from both parties, and still hasn't improved. Switching providers ASAP because this is awful.

Don't bother signing up to Gigabit Network, I joined in July. After they had take the first direct debit this month I got this email from Home Telecom ' Hello A, We are so excited to give you the amazing news, that we are taking over the management of your service from your current broadband provider Gigabit Networks. This means everything you love stays the same - and yes, that includes your price and broadband speed. '

So for 2 weeks I’ve had no internet, so as you would I called the internet provider (Gigabit) To find out that they have moved us to Telecom without even telling us and that Telecom isn’t compatible with the modem and that it will be fixed by 15:00. Lone behold no internet, absolutely rubbish. I know you never get the internet they say you will but to be fair the first few months where amazing and now we are looking to change suppliers as I’m not paying anymore for a service I can’t get and haven’t had for 2 weeks.

Absolutely terrible company. First two months netflix wouldn't even work on a night but was that slow due to the CG Nat. Requested a static IP to bypass it and it took a month and multiple phone calls before it was sorted. Was ok for a few months but now have passed my contract to another company. Internet is slow and I'm currently writing this review using my 4g as it's been offline since Saturday at midnight and it's now Monday. Did manage to contact support by chat 3 times on Saturday and was just told 1 reboot router. 2nd time leave it off for 30 mins. 3rd time reset ONT box. Tried to contact a fourth time but they closed at lunchtime. I am terminating my contract early and going back to virgin

Regular outages. The speed has never been anywhere near 900 Gb/s I'm paying for. Support is only available Mon to Fri, so stuffed if there is an outage during weekend. Also, apparently I'm now been transfered to another company after 3 months? Just what is going on here? DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY. They just do not care for their customers.

Constant connection issues. Support always closed over the weekend which sums this company up..... A part time company providing a part time service to its customers. I'll be requesting an early termination as this product is not to acceptable standards. Been a customer since October 2023 and if it's not the poor router at fault, it's the hours of no service on the line. It's funny how my neighbours on the same fibre line aren't having any issues, only difference is the provider.

Terrible. Constant outages and very rarely do I see speeds anywhere near the advertised 900mbps.

I joined Gigabit but stupidly didn't read the reviews! My bad. I just wanted to warn anyone thinking about joining them that the service is great for the first 3 or 4 months, then they move you to Home Telecom who are awful! My advice is check that your provider is not going to move you to a rubbish company that obviously saves them money.

Had enough of calling and complaining. Max 400-500 on 900 plan. High latency while gaming, at least once a week it crashes and Sunday recently it was down. Not recommended avoid at all cost. Will be contacting Ofgen to cancel.

Internet failed due to a faulty router that cannot access IPv4 meaning most of the net was unavailable. They suggested I upgrade to a better modem, which may not fix the issue, and that i'd need to pay for it. they then started to threaten me by saying I cant leave contract early. They dont have the infrastructure to fix problems. Terrible company. Avoid like the plague

The company is not capable of providing the services advertised. I have never received anything close to the advertised download and upload speeds. My internet speed often drops so low than the internet connection is unusable. My internet connection has dropped out entirely more than once. The company didn’t take my direct debit for the first couple of months for absolutely no reason and then sent me a series of inappropriate and threatening emails. I had given my bank details for a direct debit to be set up on registration. Then I had to pay three months in one month having just moved house which caused me real financial hardship. This month, after taking my direct debit for a few months, they’ve just stopped and sent me an email blaming me for not paying. The direct debit is active. I can see it in my online banking. They just didn’t take the money and then said I didn’t pay. The range on my router is appalling. If I walk five steps away from it, devices can’t connect to it. I live in a small house and can’t achieve full WiFi coverage. The proposed solution was I pay them £5 per month for a repeater, which I found quite offensive. I’ve asked politely, firmly, rudely. I’ve tried persistence. I’ve been very clear with them. The customer service is really bad. I’ve had nothing back. I’ve had to ask to leave fee free because the company is in contract violation now. I’m not getting what I try to pay for - when they take the direct debit. Since they’ve ignored me for the last five days, I think it’s necessary to leave a public review to ensure this doesn’t happen to others.

Regular Poor speed issues - Do not believe the good experiences I don't think they are real but the poor ones are 100% real as I'm going through it - Every 2-3 months they have service issues, the issues always happen over the weekend when there support lines are shut so you can not even report any issues - they are not fit to be providers and should just be made to stop selling packages and promises they can not keep - go with a reputable company but DO NOT USE these guys read my past experience with these guys and you will know this is a regular occurrence - I genuinely think they don't have a clue about providing customer service or broadband service absolute amateurs

Positives: * Installation team, professional, knowledgable * Router arrived on time * The two customer service members were professional and understood the reported problems Negatives: * No contract was sent over and there is no portal access to managing our service * Internet speed is shockingly low. Forget about 900mbps, on days I tracked download speeds were in single digits. Running the same number of devices on BT 66mbps max connection, we consistently got in at least 75% of the advertised speed * Only way to reach them is via phone * 14-day cooling period is from date of order and not installation. Outside of this £90 cancellation fee applies, which means even if you have not had a chance to test because installation date could be close to 14 days from order, you are to be charged £90 * Essentially losing £130 for a non-existent or as advertised service

City Fibre was activated this year in my area so I thought id leave Virgin to save money and get a faster service. i went with Gigabit networks as they had good reviews and offered a good price. What a mistake that was, unbelievably unstable and non existent customer support, I shall be writing to Ofcom to cancel as the network is unfit for purpose.
